Came in to get a full set with gel polish, she offered “solar nails” with the explanation that they are better than acrylic and just a “little” more expensive. So what the heck, I tried it out. I asked for a coffin shape which was actually done well. She then asked if I would like my eyebrows done, which I politely declined. She applied the polish too thin and you can see my nail under it in some spots. While my gel was drying she looked at my eyebrows again and asked if I would like them done, this time saying “I really need it”....RUDE. Then she asks if I want a design on my nails and I say yes, without asking what I want she puts glitter on two of my nails and calls it done. Then comes time to pay, my total comes out to $69. $25 full set, $15 gel polish, $5 coffin shape, $3 nail file and buffer set=$48 So either the solar powder costed $20 more than acrylic which isn’t just a little it is considerably more and should be explained, or she charged me for a bull*t glitter design on two nails. I went during the pandemic. 8/28/20. The service was exceptional and the prices really good. Most of nail salons increased their prices. Their services have the best prices right now. I visited US Nails with my daughter. Our experience with them was great. They have exceptional customer service and did a marvelous job with my acrylic nails, pedi and face wax. My daughter also got acrylics and face wax. Very experienced staff. We are highly satisfied with the service and the quality of the job. Considering that small business are struggling during this pandemic, a key element for customers to return is to provide the best service at the best price and at US nails the staff definitively show commitment to do so. I wasn't very satisfied when I walked out after getting my nails done. I asked for squared but with round corners, it seemed like she wasn't paying attention and decided to do her own thing because she left them squared. She didn't spend long on my nails and when I go to other places they take quite a while to get them perfect. She focused more on talking than doing the nails.
