Summary: This review is a heartfelt dedication to Ingrid and her husband, John, whose inspiring story has created more than just a restaurant. After facing the possibility of a heart transplant, Ingrid healed through the love and care of her husband’s daily cooking, which sparked the idea for this amazing place. Their story, like their food, is filled with love, health, and resilience. If you’re ever nearby, this is a must-visit for not only delicious, healthy food but also a truly inspiring experience.
Ambience (5/5): The restaurant has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, a reflection of Ingrid and John’s personalities. It feels like you’re part of a family when you walk in, and the love they’ve poured into this place is undeniable.
Authenticity (5/5): The food is not only delicious but also created with health in mind. The Gyro Salad we had was packed with flavor, and you could tell the ingredients were fresh and thoughtfully prepared. It's clear that the dishes are designed to nourish both the body and soul, inspired by Ingrid’s healing journey.
Flavor (5/5): The Gyro Salad was absolutely amazing, with generous portions that were enough for both my wife and me to share. The flavors were perfectly balanced, with fresh vegetables and tender gyro meat that paired beautifully with the dressing. Everything tasted fresh and wholesome, which added to the joy of eating it.
Cost (5/5): For the quality, freshness, and portions, the prices are very reasonable. We got a huge Gyro Salad that was more than enough for two people, and it felt worth every penny.
Service (5/5): Ingrid’s kindness shone through in the service. She even brought our food out to us while we waited in the car, showing just how much she cares about her customers. Her warmth and thoughtfulness made the experience even more special.

Read moreIf I could give this restaurant more stars, I would. A truly delightful experience with plenty of gluten-free and dairy-free options! As soon as I walked into the restaurant, I was immediately acknowledged by Ingrid herself. I found her to be welcoming and so very friendly. The restaurant has a chill cafe vibe.
One of the most unique things I ate there was the beet hummus. I thought the beet hummus (gluten free and dairy free) was phenomenal! Hands down, the most fun hummus I ever had. The bulgogi beef paleo bowl was my favorite gluten free dish here! Quite a lot of protein for one meal. It tasted like real bulgogi to me. I would estimate 70% of the menu is gluten free, with exception to the wraps and the flatbread that goes with the hummus.
Don't get me started on the sauces :) I love how customizable the dishes are as in you can pick the sauce you want in most dishes. I really appreciated Ingrid's suggestions and loved the BBQ sauce with the chicken. It wasn't too spicy for me; it was tang at its finest. I absolutely loved the Romesco, it was the first time I had ever heard of it and got to try. If you haven't had Romesco, I would recommend it (has nuts).
Lots of delicious vegetarian and vegan options. Vegan options include Eat More Plants Bowl, Falafel Wrap, Beet Hummus and the salads (request without the feta).
I felt really good after eating the food too. I loved that it tasted good and was healthy. I think it has the best healthy food and vegetarian options in Vancouver WA. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone passing through Vancouver or local...
Read moreI'm so glad that I finally made it in! I've been wanting to try Ingrid's Paleo Grill for years due to all the rave reviews I hear, but it's one of those places that just slips the mind and the early hours aren't the most accommodating if you work outside the area. But, whatever, I finally made it in, and it was fantastic!
I had the Bulgogi Beef Paleo Bowl and it was delicious! I'm not sure how they made the bulgogi beef so tasty while being paleo, but I was told they would give me the recipe if I wanted it!
My wife had the Mediterranean Salad with Falafel and the kids split the Gyro Bowl, and each item was fantastic! Both of my kids (8 and 4 years) loved the bowl they split, and I loved the fact that they were eating healthy food!
The portions are large enough that I ate half my bowl for lunch and will eat the other half for dinner. And being packed with all the healthy goodness, you don't feel bogged down, but feel good and clean after eating.
We even spent a little time talking with Ingrid and John, and they were both very hospitable and welcoming. They seem like genuinely good people, the kind that you want to support and see business thrive for.
Ingrid's Paleo Grill is a rare gem where the food is not only good, but also good for you! I wish I would have made the time and effort to...
