Update 2024: Started trying them, again. NOTHING has changed or gotten better as far as the delivery time frames consistently being LATE. If you dont have the staff (which they keep telling me) then stop promising delivery times, or shut down your delivery option altogether instead of continually disappointing people, and causing them to have to start their office meetings late (or have someone miss half the meeting while waiting for the food to arrive).
An example (but not todays): They have said to me when I called at Noon for something that was supposed to be delivered between 1130-1145 "Oh, its leaving in a minute, we are just waiting to finish another order that was set for 1215."... Well, my order had been put in at 8am, and you had PLENTY of time to organize yourselves so that both orders could go out on time.
As far as the food quality and following directions on the orders... also problematic. I always click the cut in half on my sand, and it rarely ever is... for one example.
2020: We order from here weekly (larger 7-10 people at least twice a month, usually more... and then smaller orders for 3-5 people a couple times a week, at least).
It used to be so perfect, every order was correct every time. The last 3 or 4 months the orders have been wrong (Today, for example, one was not cut even though it is on the receipt, one did not have requested peppers. A couple weeks ago someone ordered (and paid for) double turkey and it had only 4 slices, JJs employees said that was correct when we called, but someone else did not order extra and they also had 4 slices.)
Delivery is always on time, drivers are friendly. Id like to get back to where our orders were correct and we didnt have to call, or to "fix" them...

Update, after about a year I decided to maybe try it again and I would say this experience was worse. I ordered the food ahead of time for pickup and it wasn't ready. I waited in line just to ask how long the wait would be and the cashier who presumably is even the manager based on how she spoke to everybody, but we'll get back to that later, was taking forever. I was told that my order wasn't quite ready yet so I took a seat. While waiting there a gentleman behind me came up and tried to order a pickle because he decided that after he got his sandwich he wanted a pickle as well. The cashier turned to the crew and began yelling at them for not giving the poor man his pickle and when they replied saying he never ordered one she started yelling at them more that he did indeed order the pickle and they should have given him the pickle and has she apparently seems to be flabbergasted that nobody gave him a pickle. She sat there gas lighting the crew more about the pickle only for the old man to interject telling her he never ordered the pickle in the first place and decided he wanted one. If she's a manager and treats her staff that way, that's horrifying. If she's just a sandwich maker alongside the rest of them and is treating her co-workers that way that might...
Read morePoor customer service and the sandwiches were poor quality for the price. When I swiped my card to pay, the white cashier just walked away. No communication or receipt. They called out number "58" I looked at my husband and wondered if that was us. Then they called out the sandwich numbers. He said, "I think those are our sandwiches. Hopefully, no one else ordered the same sandwiches. " I walked over to grab them and told the white lady that she should give the customer the receipt or receipt number. She said you already know your sandwich number, and you get your receipt after your sandwiches are made. I said good customer service requires communication. Especially if the customer is hearing impaired. The black lady says you should already know your sandwich number. Then, the dorky white guy says the sandwich numbers are on the signs. His response had nothing to do with my feedback. The bread was hard, the sandwich had more lettuce than meat, and more condiments that lettuce. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS JIMMY JOHNS. THE QUALITY OF FOOD IS POOR, AND THE WORKERS ATTITUDES ARE TOO. SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY! GO...
