Cheeseburgers and French fries from McDonald's are our special needs daughter's favorite. So, it's safe to say we visit this location often. I personally really enjoy the morning ladies and lunch crew best. The later in the day you visit, the more their customer service goes downhill. We always use the drive thru. My experience is usually the same. The person taking the order is always pleasant and wonderful. But, as I approach the 2nd window, the people are unfriendly. They don't acknowledge you, they don't greet you, and worst... they basically shove/throw (for lack of a better word) your food & drink at you and send you on your way. They get inpatient with you as you try your best to set your stuff down in your car at the same pace they're handing it to you. So,(because I'm usually solo) I then have to quickly drive forward, food in my lap, drink in one hand,(not safe) and pull up to a parking spot to get my daughter's food and drink situated. To top it off, they don't say "thank you", "have a nice day", "enjoy" nothing. On to the food, my biggest complaint is that sometimes their fries taste like they've been cooking in old oil. Many times, they don't fill the fries containers if you get a large/super size. They are sometimes the equivalent of a small to medium fry. If you buy a happy meal with gogurt, they include the cold yogurt in the box with the hot food. (A food handlers no no). They also haven't given me the mighty kids meal when I've ordered them a few times. They literally just give me a normal happy meal instead. Lastly, on weekends lunch doesn't start until half an hour later than on weekdays. I believe these times should always be consistent no matter what day it is. My non verbal 5 year old had a huge meltdown because we she doesn't understand that we were 15 mins too early for fries on a weekend. Lastly, their burger/sandwich temps can sometimes be cold. All in all, I think they definitely could step up their customer service and food quality. On the plus side, they do have a play area here as well as a...
Read moreUpon receiving my order, I was eager to dive into the delicious aroma and taste of McDonald's iconic golden fries. However, to my dismay, I found the fries to be completely cold and unappealing. It was evident that they had been sitting out for an extended period or perhaps were improperly cooked.
The lack of temperature not only affected the texture of the fries but also made them stale and tasteless. The crispy exterior I was eagerly anticipating was instead replaced with a soggy and limp consistency. It was clear that no effort had been made to ensure the fries were served fresh and piping hot, which is unacceptable and goes against the essence of what McDonald's fries should be.
What added to my dissatisfaction was the lack of attention from the staff. I brought the issue to their attention, but instead of offering a genuine apology or suggesting a solution, they seemed disinterested and dismissive. It left me with the impression that customer satisfaction and quality were not a priority for this particular McDonald's location.
As a loyal customer, I expect consistency in the quality of food, especially from a global fast-food chain like McDonald's. Unfortunately, this experience has made me question the reliability of their offerings at this specific location. Cold fries are not only unappetizing but also a clear indication of a lack of attention to detail and a failure to meet basic standards.
I sincerely hope that McDonald's management takes note of these concerns and takes appropriate action to rectify the situation. Customers should not have to settle for subpar food, and consistency should be a fundamental aspect of their brand promise.
In conclusion, based on my experience at this McDonald's, I would advise others to exercise caution when considering dining at this location. The cold fries and lack of attention to customer satisfaction leave much...
Read moreI'm not going to go into detail on the food; it's McDonald's, guys. You know what it is. You probably knew your order before you reached the building. This particular location, though, has wildly inconsistent service. It's always been clean, in my experience, but I've had several orders come up with incorrect or missing items, sometimes after lengthy delays. On my last visit (which may actually be my last visit at this location), our food came out correct, but was rung up incorrectly, leading to being overcharged a few dollars for our order. It took over ten minutes for the order to come out in the first place (just three breakfast sandwiches with no special instructions), and when I attempted to explain the discrepancy in the order to the cashier, he eventually had to flag down a manager for assistance. The manager in question never spoke a word to me, instead simply staring at me until I started explaining the problem, and seemed to believe I was trying to somehow con them out of money. She eventually quite angrily opened the register, pulled $2.50 out, and tossed it in my general direction before walking away without a word. I'd like to note I am not exaggerating this for comedic effect; quarters were briefly airborne, here. While I'm quite ok with being paid to leave a McDonald's, the whole thing was more than a little rude, particularly given it wasn't our fault to begin with. I also routinely visit the McDonald's across from Chuck's Produce on Mill Plain and have never had any issues with order accuracy or service time at...
