Even though my house is exactly the same distance between this Starbucks & the one located in Safeway on the corner of Andresen & Mill Plain, I always choose to come here because every single time I have, I always received above and beyond stellar service & flawless food and drink orders made to perfection. There were 2 seperate times where I had placed my order through the app earlier in the day, but due to an emergency with a loved one in one incident and my car unexpectedly going into limp mode in the other, was unable to get there until within a quarter to closing. When I called to let them know both times, the baristas were extremely understanding, and were genuinely concerned with my loved one's well-being (motorcycle accident at 80 mph, and he still has residual effects from it but regardless he survived something that would have mortally injured most people) and mine as well, making sure I wasn't stranded (I wasn't thanks to Good Sam roadside assistance). When I was finally able to pick up both orders, all of the baristas working during both times happily & efficiently remade my food and drinks fresh, and even hooked me up with some surplus food made that they didn't want to go to waste. They were so courteous to me, even when I came in around 6 minutes to closing. Which, I really wouldn't have blamed them if they would have not been okay with me showing up that late; They worked all day, and having to complete all the various closing tasks they have to do as well as prep for the next morning, as well as any other time commitments they may have after work, they have every right to be able to expect to clock out when their shift is over. The people employed at this location are always in a jovial mood and obviously have fun and enjoy what they do here, which is awesome since that indicates great and successful management and teamwork with effective and concise communication. I always look forward to picking up my orders from here & look...
Read moreThis location is hit or miss, quite honestly. I've had great service here where I used to go way out of my way to get coffee, yet recently I've had some not so great service. Starbucks advertises that "if your drink isn't made right, we'll remake it right, every time!" yet when they HAVE made it incorrectly, they either tell me sorry and remake it but I have to pay full price, or they'll just ignore my complaint. I'm sure they've had people use and abuse that ad but for the people who genuinely got the wrong drink or their drink wasn't made right, they should remake it for free, ESPECIALLY if it's a loyal customer who sees them most every dang day. If I'm paying over six dollars for a cup of coffee, AND come in most every day, it'd BETTER be remade if it wasn't right the first time. Lately I've been going to the location closer to my house because they make my drink correctly almost every time, are friendly 100% of the time, and the 2 times they got it wrong in the past year, they comp'd my drink along with a heartfelt apology (or fake heartfelt but I can't tell so good on...
Read moreIt is not normally my practice to leave reviews, but due to my recent experience at this particular Starbucks, I felt compelled to share.
Like most, I have a few favorites that I call upon when in need and can count on being consistent. The sweet cream cold brew I had here on this particular trp surpassed them all.
Upon first sip I was socked in the taste buds by a whole new level of flavor. It was absolutely scrumptious! What had they done that made it so vastly superior to all the others that had gone before it? Was it their passion for the craft? Their love of serving others? Some sort of Black Apron Magic? Your guess is as good as mine. Perhaps ignorance is bliss? All I can say is, whether by accident or enchantment, I will definitely go out of my way to visit again and order another spectacular drink from these fine baristas.
Also, I would like to commend manager Emily, who single handedly ran both register and bar with such thoughtfulness, skill, and pleasant interactions with customers and...
