I'm very impressed. Friendly, Fast, Accurate, Fresh, Clean and In Stock - The things I expect when patronizing any business establishment whether to eat, buy tools or furniture, get medical care or any other reason. This Wendy's felt like the standard to which all stores worldwide should be evaluated.
I ordered a combo meal through the app. Every item was customized or had specific features greatly reducing the likelihood that my order would be accurate or timely. Wendy's support for making changes to my items is one of the big reasons it has no competition as my preferred fast food. Light mayo, extra lettuce, extra tomato, the largest soda: peach flavored mellow yellow zero sugar and a medium size fry along with free chicken nuggets for using mobile ordering. All 110% accurate. Yes, an extra 10% for giving me 3 pieces of lettuce and 3 slices of tomato compared to the standard 1 of each or the usual 2 I normally find when asking for extra.
I submitted my order in their parking lot (it's a busy store and the drive through line was way too popular). By the time I locked my car and approached the counter my order was nearly complete. The fries were so fresh i had to let them cool a bit and everything was correct the first time. I chose my table based on sight lines (it's a military thing) not on cleanliness as every table and customer area I checked was spotless. Even the most common disaster areas (the Coke Freestyle machines and the condiment/utensil table) were fully stocked and clean. I chose Wendy's in my travels today specifically for it's beverage selection. Every flavor and soda was working. I enjoy switching and mixing diet sodas for my refills
I have only 2 improvements. First, my ongoing Frosty challenge. They need to dispense colder, more frozen, so it's not half thawed by the time I finish eating. They used to come out thick, more like soft serve ice cream and less like milk. The 2nd improvement would be regarding cloning. This is my first trip to the Northwest. I've lived in Utah for the past couple of years and frankly it's a long drive from Salt Lake to Vancouver. Read moreI've been frequenting this Wendy's every Wednesday or Thursday between 7:30 and 8:30 PM for the past 2 years. The quality, service and speed used to be top-notch. This has rapidly started slipping over the past 2-3 months and the last 2 visits were infuriating. Last week (9/10) I showed up by myself in the car in the drive through to pick up the order to take home (15-20 minute drive), was handed 2 frostys and asked to pull up to the curb. So now I'm sitting here with my stuff melting while they finish up? Ridiculous. Yesterday (9/18), I ordered 2 chocolate raven's blood frostys (my wife requested this specifically) and when I pulled up to the window I was handed 2 vanilla frostys...fine, people make mistakes. So, I ask if they're chocolate, and after a 5-second blank stare from the kid he informs me that I in fact ordered vanilla. So let's think about this employee's thought process...he assumes what?...that I'm stupid? That I'm trying to scam this business out of the cost of the items? That it's ok for me to take something I don't want at what have become exorbitant prices over the last couple years? None of these conclusions are acceptable and it's why management and policies exist so people without the experience or aptitude don't have to exercise their critical thinking because this is the result. Maybe the owner doesn't care about the $2,000/yr or so I spend there. Maybe getting my order right, or at least not inferring that I'm a moron or liar isn't worth my patronage - that's ok. Read moreCashier was friendly and Sharon was great! Resteraunt was clean lots of seating and public bathrooms were spotless with no locks on the doors! Parking lot had ample space although it was half full, busy time around 2 pm. Wheel chair ♿ acessable, but double glass doors( swung easy) to get into the restaurant. The food was just okay. The fries were way to salty, so I asked for a baked potato. ( Sharon provided that with a smile) My sandwich was wrong regular chicken instead of the chicken BLT sandwich. ( Reciept was correct = kitchen fixed it wrong so Sharon once again said No problem and provided me with a new sandwich and a smile! ) Unfortunately the cheese was ice cold and the chicken wasn't hot to melt it Honestly THEY NEED NEW KITCHEN STAFF!!! The rest of my experience was Fantastic 👏 The Best Wendy's I've been to in a long time! 5 🌟 BUT food was only like a 2 star 🌟 it be 1 but the other biggie bag only had 1 issue OLD chicken nuggets were severed in it as well as mine..we gave up on kitchen staff so didn't bother to ask for New nuggets.
