Arby's — Restaurant in Venice

The Double Roast Beef sandwich was delicious. We couldn't get a shake as their shake machine was out of order. Upon looking around at the physical condition of the Arby's store it became very clear that either Arby's or the franchise owners don't care about the look of the place. I've been to ultra modern Arby's and this one on Rte-41 Bypass in Venice, Florida is sorely in need of a massive makeover. I'd suggest that it be totally demolished and rebuilt. The front of the building is literally crumbling and tiles in the Men's room were all coming off the walls. The door to the Men's room was not aligned so it was difficult to even close properly. The interior has formica that is in places cracked or ripped away. Like I said, the food was good but the physical appearance leaves much to be desired. Considering that the massive Wellen Park development down the road is bringing thousands upon thousands of new homeowners to the Venice area I'd think that presenting a nice shiny new store would make financial sense. Hint hint, there are lots available for development directly on Rte-41 in the Wellen Park development. Come on Arby's. It's 2021. Don't...

Two stars as the reason I chose Arby’s today was for their French dip and it did not taste good and Customer service could’ve been way better at this location. Today I did drive-through right away the employee was rude and not pleasant to order from. When she gave me the bag with the French dip I could tell it was not warm as the bag is usually warm. I asked her if the French dip could be warmed, she said it is warm. Since she didn’t take my word for it I dipped my finger into it to make sure... it was cold! She took it back to get warmed then came back and asked me if I wanted to dip my finger back and check. I’m not sure if she was being snarky with that comment but it sure did seemed like it, not sure why she chose to have this rude attitude towards me. After all that she did apologize and said the pot wasn’t turned on. Over all the whole experience was just uncomfortable I will not be going back to this location unless management would like to contact me and tell me what they are going to do about the rude treatment...

We got 3 buffalo chicken sandwiches. My son ate 2, and I ate one. I thought maybe it was just my sandwich that got stuck with almost no meat in the filet because my son didn’t complain, but turns out he just didn’t want to whine because it is Mother’s Day. There was almost no chicken. It was pretty much just breading. If they got a bad bag, then management should send that bag back and grab a new one that actually has meat in it. If all their chicken came in like that, then take it off the menu until the product gets replaced. Those sandwiches are $6.99 before tax. I could have bought an entire bag of Tyson chicken and buns for half the price, but I didn’t even want to turn on the oven because it’s Mother’s Day, and I wanted a break. I’ve learned my lesson.
