Was looking into real dining places to take my girlfriend that Chef Mike doesn't work for and found La Botte. I didn't want to spoil it by reading too much about it, but It sounded perfect. I ordered a La Botte salad, fettuccine vino with lamb and my date had the lasagna pasta. Absolutely amazing ( I had a bite of hers as well) had a glass of cab sav with our meal and the water was provided by iced glass bottle, which I very much appreciate and took note of. The bread was beyond words. My face melted with relaxation as I sighed of relief and just tasted FLAVOR!
The food was made from scratch, piping hot, fresh and the atmosphere made you feel very welcome. A place that gave me the Gordon Ramsey experience where he would go to different places of business that are family run. I did not feel rushed, and I appreciate the evening.
I'll definitely be coming back. The food was amazing and I liked the place. Hidden jewel because the place is located where you wouldn't think to experience it. ( I didn't want to be that guy with his camera out, but I wanted to review and let you people know that this place really made me feel special and that it's great for date night)
Now if I were to be unreasonable and picky, I wish they had real paintings or artwork instead of the soulless printed pictures on the wall. They didn't even really fit the theme... I loved the tea cup candle lights, would be cool if they flickered like fire. Literally non issues, but that would have made me give...

I made reservations before our trip and highly recommend you should as it is not a huge dining room and the locals frequent this wonderful restaurant. We were greeted by our super nice server with 2 glasses of champagne. We ordered the Saute' di Cozze . Let me tell you that the mussels were tender and not overpowered by the delicious red sauce they were in. The Italian bread was soaked and devoured leaving you wanting more. My wife ordered the Ravioli Arogosta served with shrimp in a vodka sauce. Super rich in flavor. I ordered the Lasagna Tradizionale and it was the best lasagna I've had in a restaurant. Being Italian I tend to hold restaurants version of what a lasagna should be to a high standard and this place knows what they're doing. I paired it with a glass of valpolicello classico. For desert we went with a the zabaglione. Refreshing!! When in Venice this family owned authentic Italian restaurant is a must and can't wait...
Read moreAmazing service and cozy atmosphere!! A quaint and adorably decorated traditional Italian cuisine, prepared incredibly. A local restaurant chef and restaurant owner recommended this spot to us, and aren’t we glad we made reservations! Every bite was amazing and authentic, nothing tasted close to any Italian food I’ve ever experienced before. From the summer salad appetizer, with the juiciest fresh strawberries I’ve ever tasted, to the gnocchi that was clearly freshly prepared before hitting our table, my fresh shrimp on the lobster ravioli with vodka sauce both garnished with the best grated Parmesan I’ve tasted to compliment rather than take away from the flavor of the sauce. Hands down our favorite part of the meal was the incredible banana cheesecake for desert!!!! Do. Not. Pass. Up. I could have eaten an entire pie if presented with the opportunity. Thanks for being a top notch gem hidden away for the locals to discover!! This establishment is definitely what any “authentic” Italian restaurant strives to be, and then some!! Kudos kudos kudos...
