Daiquiri Deck Island of Venice — Restaurant in Venice

My wife and I got sat almost instantly when walking through the door I thought this to be a good sign, but ho ho ho we were mistaken. After sitting for 26 minutes (We timed it), a table who sat after us got their drinks and order taken first. A nice gentlemen who was not a server came to check on us and asked if we had been helped yet. As the two waitresses covering this section were talking to eachothers and ignoring multiple tables who were looking at them waiting for their order to be taken. He took our drink orders and then alerted the waitress to come take our food order. We waited another 12 minutes for her to come over and greet us. We were welcomed with a “Are you guys ready to order?” I was thrown off by this abrupt comment as I only knew Gianna through the gentleman who said she would be right over. After placing our order we waited 30 minutes more for our food as the nice ladies at the table next to us had been there right before we got sat and still had yet to be taken their orders after OVER AN HOUR! Finally, our food came and my wife got her chicken tacos with the wrong side. We waited another 10 minutes to try to flag her down for the rice and beans we previously ordered instead of the fries. Mind you it was not a busy time and two waitresses were covering this section (she only had around 5 tables). A different gentlemen brought the correct side over which we were appreciative of as Issac was very friendly and nice to us! After eating and giving us about 31 more minutes she came over to give us our bill. Finally, after an hour and 49 minutes we were able to leave. The ladies next to us placed their orders right before we were leaving close to an hour and a half from us sitting. Gianna work on your mannerisms and time management as for the gentleman who brought us our drinks and Issac you guys are ROCKSTARS! Wont be having Gianna as our waitress next time! Work on...

15-20 minute wait to be seated, no big deal, food was pretty good. That is the only good thing to say. Service was horrible, even by post-covid era standards. I'm no Karen. In fact, I may pen one review every couple of years. This was probably the worst service I've had in a couple of a years. Waitress slow to take drink order, didn't bring drinks back to the table for 10-15 minutes and forgot to bring them all. Said, "We are out of milk, is there anything else the kids would like?" Wife asked if they could sub-in virgin daiquiris, she said "that's fine, yeah". Waitress took food orders, the one and only voluntary time she came to the table. Had to be flagged down for the one round of refills, and for the check. When the check arrived, up-charged a split-fee on the twin two year-olds kid's meal. Charged $12 for the twin two year-olds' drinks. (Not just a that's fine, yeah. Not even just a simple upcharge). Even at the most upscale steakhouse, you won't pay $23 for twin two-year olds to share a grilled cheese and a smoothie, but that's what you'll pay here. Asked if it was right, and she didn't see any issue. I almost always tip generously, and 15% is the lowest I will tip- that is for poor service... I could get past the nondisclosure of the charges up front, but pair that with the horrible service... I had to let this girl pay for my kid's drinks out of her tip. Will...

We decided to try this place as it sounded good. Upon arriving we where seated. Our waitress took our drink order and appetizers, we did not see her again till 30 seconds after our appetizers where delivered to take our order, so now wine placing our order the appetizers got cold!! Our 9 mini Mac and cheese bites ($14) where mushy and gross!!! This would be the last time we spoke to our waitress the entire meal, she never checked on us once and both me and my fiancé spent the last 40 min with empty glasses since we where never checked on! So another person delivered our food and ran away not asking us if we needed anything else (we did need something). We tried to get several servers attention to get what we needed and got ignored. So after my dry chicken sandwich, my fiancé mushy crab cakes and our nasty mac and cheese bites and 2 drinks we got the bill for $52.. we had to yell to the bar to get our severs attention just to get our check, we pay our bill!!! While leaving we see the manager and stop to inform him of the horrible service we received he simply said oh well we are short staffed!! This is unacceptable for the prices that they are charging.. the staff is unfriendly and has bad attitudes, the food is nasty. And the manager while polite did not care about us.. stay away from...
