I had a less than satisfactory experience at this establishment. Our waitress had zero personality skills and clearly appeared impaired. She paid no attention to our order and constantly asked questions that we had already addressed. Our food arrived sporadically. One entree and side came out before our appetizer was even addressed. We finished our meal and requested our check. Our waitress boxed up the majority of our meal and brought our check over to the table. She dropped the check onto the table and proceeded to stand over me as I filled out the tip section of the bill. This was not only rude, but it was unprofessional. When we got home to put the leftovers in the fridge, I found marinara sauce dripped throughout my house. The waitress did not place a lid on the container, which ruined all of the leftover food and stained our carpet. It's a shame that this establishment that we eat at every weekend all summer, is ruining their reputation. Many of our friends and neighbors have commented that the food has been awful this year. The following day I returned back to express my concerns with my terrible dinner experience. The staff did not care at all about the experience that we had. They told me the owner was too busy to speak with me and there was nothing that they could do to remedy my situation. All I asked for was a credit to give this place a second chance, but that was too much to ask for. I hope that all my fellow Ventnor, Margate, and Longport residents read this and take take a second thought when ordering your next pizza. To the owner, if your read this, all you had to do was offer a $30 credit and so I’m sorry. When success gets in the way of giving good customer service, the next step is Out...

I came home from work exhausted and didn't feel like cooking. I'm new to the area so a few people recommended Uncle Gino's. I ordered a stromboli with pepperoni and ham instead of sausage. I got my stromboli in a timely manner and my total was $16 . The delivery driver didn't offer change after I handed him a $20 so I responded "your welcome" and told him to keep it. He also had me come to his vehicle to retrieve my food. That was a first for me. So I began eating my stromboli but it was full of sausage. So I phoned the restaurant to tell them and the girl quickly said they would send another. Again, the delivery driver called me and told me that he could not come to the front desk of the apartment building and said that I needed to come to his car because he had other deliveries. I've NEVER heard of having to go to a car to get delivery food. I called the restaurant again to tell them that their delivery driver would not enter me building to deliver my food and the girl said that the manager was gone and asked if she could help me. So I told her the story and let her know that after the problem s I've had, I would not order from them again. Her response was OK! I let her know that the driver wouldn't bring my food to me and she hung up! Seems that this restaurant makes so much money that they don't need...

Beware! Anti Semetic, very unfriendly & unprofessional ... never used to be like that there. Ordered non-meat hoagie off their online menu, we opened hoagie at home it had ham. Called restaurant explaining they made a mistake. Manager with Italian accent yelled through phone via order taker , blaming us for not "asking" if there was meat when online menu made no mention of meat for this hoagie. We returned to restaurant 1 hour later with hoagie, showed nasty manager what we ordered from his own online menu, and he aggressively argued with us eventhough he saw for himself. No reason to raise his voice, we didn't make this up, and we just wanted hoagie we ordered as printed on their actual website menu is all we said. Manager made unnecessary angry comment to us about being an Italian restaurant not kosher restaurant, "all our food has meat, go to kosher for meatless food." All we wanted was a meatless hoagie selected from Uncle Geno's Ventnor online menu. He's an awful business person & a disgraceful human to make such comments in a restaurant full of people watching & listening. Shame on...

Local Spot in Ventnor! This little place has a huge menu. It makes one wonder where in the world do they keep the ingredients. Pizzas, Sandwiches, Pasta, Cheesesteaks, Wings, Tacos, etc. we just could not decide so we ordered the pizza, a burger, and a cheesesteak sandwich. The food is made to order, except for the pizzas of the day. Everything that came to the table was hot and fresh. The pizza was so huge the top and bottom of it would not fit on the plate. The crust was airy and crispy. Perfect Crunch! The burger was char-grilled to perfection. The cheesesteak, I ordered the half, was very good and seasoned well. Our waitress Beth was great. It was not crowded and the food came out quick. Great prices! We thoroughly enjoyed this place. They even deliver to the beach for free! The only issue is their soda policy. The restaurant policy is that patrons pay an extra $2.99 for a soda to go, when patrons have paid for soda while eating there. Most restaurants will just allow patrons to take a soda to go for no charge especially when patrons have already paid for a soda to eat in.

Updated July 2023 Great food. Great service. Huge menu. BYOB. Outside seating. Aug 1, 2020 Went last night for pick up. The service: WecWe and they said it would be 1 - 1-1/2 hours, which we were fine with. Went at the time it was supposed to be ready and it was packaged perfectly in a large heavy duty carry box. Everything in the order was correct. Everything was piping hot even when we got home (about 10 minute drive) The food: The shrimp fra diavolo was excellent. One of the top we've ever had. The linguini was cooked perfectly and the gravy was so delicious. Spicy, but not overpowering. The chicken parmesan was excellent. The very top of the cheese was brown and crispy and it was amazing. The linguini and clams were unbelievable. There were so many clams even to the end there was clams in every bite. You get about a dozen+ clams in shell plus more in the gravy. Did not care for the chicken noodle soup. Ps. This was our first time here and we'll definitely be back. I have no affiliation with this restaurant.

Our friends who are long time Ventnor residents recommended Uncle Gino's to us. So we decided to check it out at 8 pm on a Sunday night of Father's Day in June. We had no trouble getting a table with no reservation or waiting, and our server couldn't be more delightful. I was blown away by how expansive the menu was. I'm sure there are more than 100 things to order off the menu, and everything described sounded delicious. I wish I came with a bigger appetite. I ended up ordering the Veggie Stromboli and my wife ordered the Eggplant Parm with Papadella pasta. They immediately brought us complimentary garlic knots with marinara sauce and a side order of bread. My wife also got a side salad that came with the meal. Everything was so good, we both would go as far as saying it was the best Italian food we've had in a long time. Highly recommend!
