Herrera's Bakery — Restaurant in Ventura

We went to this bakery to get a cake and it was excellent. A friend said he normally doesn't like cake, but said this cake is so good (and he asked for seconds). It was delicious (not too sweet, just the right amount of flavor, and moist). It was beautiful, too (came out very pretty with flowers and colors as we had requested). I will hope to get more cakes from this bakery when we celebrate here (I think it is the best bakery in the county, and I have tried quite many). The cake here was very delicious, the prices are also very reasonable and the staff is nice too. My family and I recommend...

I've been going to the Bakery since i was a little girl. There is no other place to get original tasting Mexican bread baked by the owner...I had to try not by choice, other Bakerys ..and the bread is so Dry.. ....The Herrera's Bakery is so tasting and fresh And the Bread is never ever Dry and hard...Just so fresh.... and the cakes are so good...Love...

We tried their bolillos for a big family meal and they were the worst bolillos I have had. I opt to get bollilos from sprouts because they taste better, and I'm Hispanic. I'm still in search for better quality bolillos in Ventura. Other cities have good bolillos, but I can't and don't want to travel to a different city for...
