The Chinese food you had growing up, is still here. This is a rare treat for Chinese food enthusiasts of what some may call 'standard fare' is now the uncommon bordering on rare variation of family owned Chinese food done the right way. Delicious. Food aside, service was atrocious, and the atmosphere hasn't changed since the early 90s, so, pretty much a "classic" experience. But the food is worth it.

I’m so happy this place is back open after their wall repairs I missed it! The service is always amazing, and the food is consistently delicious. Everything tastes fresh and full of flavor. It’s one of my go-to spots and absolutely a must-try if you haven’t been yet!

Ordered via Uber Eats, we got the honey walnut shrimp and Sichuan fish, both were good The lunch menu seems like a great value, today we got the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice plus an order of 6pc wings. The former was tasty but wings were salty for me.

UPDATE!! 05/29/2023 Friend talked me into trying this place again. I do not know why I listened to him. NEVER AGAIN!!! Panda Express is far superior then this place. I ordered Kung Pao Chicken, my usual at every Chinese restaurant. The container was half full of liquid. I was thinking, ok lots of juices to mix with the rice & noodles. WRONG!! It was oil and a few drops of.......? Save your time & money and go to Gourmet Oriental! Walked in before 3. A guy sitting, eating. Just smacking his lips away. GROSS!!! Totally ignoring me. Before I got out of the car I noticed 2 or 3 people walking out, holding nothing. Now, I realize there was no service. Again this was before 3. Oh well. They lost my business. The place looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. Papers piled up behind the counter. Floors are filthy. Didn't get close enough to the tables. It didn't even smell like a...

Ordered from doordash, not even one minute after submitting the order i called the restaurant to change my entree from sweet and sour pork to orange chicken as it was my mistake what i chose and i realized immediately as i submitted the order to doordash. The restaurant answered promptly and recognized my order as just submitted and said no problem we will change youre entree for you. As they were the same price anyways i didnt think it would be a problem. But just disappointed when my food arrives they didnt change anything. Maybe a miscommunication, but i literally called the second after the order was submitted. Kinda sucks. Like what are u gonna do? Make the doordash guy take it back? Na im not a dixkhead. It...

Eating in Chinese restaurants from New York Chinatown to Ventura to China too many many places and just has to be not only the worst Chinese food I've ever had but they too busy to accommodate you you have to wait there don't pay attention to what you order much better if your adventure I don't remember the name but there's another Chinese restaurant at the end of Main Street near Ventura Avenue in the shopping center with Vons it's next to a donut store they're excellent they give you big portions they get the order right and I'd go there I'd even go to a dollar Chinese place where the food is better than here I would not recommend this...
