If you are looking for excellent BBQ, this place is a true treasure !
It instantly became one of our go to places for great meat and extremely fresh salads.
They limit the type of salads that they serve if the daily supply of the excellent produce is limited by agricultural conditions... They just don't serve the produce in some menu items, rather than serve lesser produce that's easily available in quantity.
The BBQ meats are the reason to come here. The "excellence is worth the effort" produce is just a telling symptom of their commitment to excellence in everything.
It's surrounded by a beautiful Carburetor repair shop and a picturesque Smog Test Station, but it's quaint and clean old west inside and the neighbors don't produce any vapors or noises that distract from your sublime eating pleasure.
I'm joking because it's in a light industrial strip mall, but I am definitely not joking about my sublime eating pleasure !
It's clearly a labor of love and passion, talent AND TRAINING ! Starting as a butcher and then moving into real BBQ seems like the required professional resume.
It's NOT yet another a pop up food truck run by a kid that someone complimented one time at a backyard BBQ. It's a real deal fantastic BBQ by professional people who are really super passionate about...

Food: I am not a heavy meat-eater; I'm more of a fruit and veggie loving gal. And if I do eat meat, I default to fish of some sort. But, thanks to a couple of former co-workers, I am no longer adverse to eating BBQ meat .... if it comes from Marshall's BBQ. I can only attest to Marshall's Tri-tip and Chicken BBQ, and let me one of the many that are telling you that Marshall's BBQ meats are SO FREAKING DELICIOUS; you and your tummy will be wholly satisfied after eating their meats.
Service: What I want to highlight about Marshall's BBQ is the great care they have for their customers. I have eaten at Marshall's a handful of times and catered from them a couple of times, and although my purchases are modest, I have always experienced a friendly face and family-like atmosphere; this place is non-prententious to say the least.
When my family and I are in the area and looking for BBQ, we only look to this wonderful joint.
To the owner of Marshall's BBQ: Thank you - for your immediate concern and willingness to allow me to change my order due to my child coming down with HFM causing his party to be postponed for a week. I am so grateful for your caring understanding my my unexpected situation.
In gratitude, KD,...
Read moreI once had some Mac and cheese here (I am lactose intolerant but I wanted to punish myself on this day because I forgot to give my cat the medicine he needs and he ended up eating the hat I bought to wear for my sisters wedding which cost $600!!!) Anyway, the Mac and cheese was so nice that it didn’t feel like a punishment so I had to drink a McDonald’s milkshake someone had left on the sidewalk on the way home (that did the trick). Beyond not giving me a crippling stomach ache, the Mac was well made, the flavor profile was rich but not over powering. When I gave my cat the medication he needed the next day he coughed up a single macaroni noodle. I couldn’t believe it because my cat is an indoor cat, we never have macaroni in the house and my cat is fussy at the best of times so a dry macaroni noodle was surprising. Anyway, I took this as a sign that my cat knew I was punishing myself. His little eyes looked up at me as if to say ‘I wish I could cough up the hat’. I didn’t care. I realised I hate my sister anyway, and she’s marrying herself so it’s not even a real wedding. Still think about that Mac and cheese daily but I promised my cat I wouldn’t do...
