Cute, nice menu, good prices, friendly staff, and great plain Greek frozen yogurt.
With covid the area has the roads shut down for vehicle traffic so all the restaurants can have outdoor seating into the street. Genius idea. I was only walking down the road to see how they had set it all up. I saw a giant sign that said beat Greek frozen yogurt and I smiled...under my mask.
I walked inside and saw a big menu board and saw they had greek bowls. I have never seen that before. I got a gyro (lamb/beef) bowl and it had the meat, salad, rice, Tazaki sauce and a very spicy creamy red sauce. That is the reason for the 4 stars. I think it was a Sriracha and yogurt or maybe mayo sauce. It was so spicy and I was not prepared for that. My nose was running and it did so for about 30 min after I was done eating. I went into a store after I cooled down a bit with some frozen yogurt. I was talking to a woman and started coughing. I had my mask on. I wish i had a picture of her face. She looked horrified. I had to explain to her that I just had such a spicy lunch and that it was still lingering in my throat and sinuses. I had to really convince her I was not sick! Lol.
The frozen yogurt was just what I expected. I like to eat plain Greek yogurt so it tasted just like that. Not sweet, but tart and perfect. Honestly they gave me too much and had to toss out half of it. Had I not eaten lunch and just had the yogurt I probably could have eaten it all. Perfect on a hot day. For sure not disappointed. They offer it with honey and a sweet treat in top if you like a sweater yogurt. Must try.
If you don't like spicy, tell them to go easy on that red/pink sauce or get it on the side. I only took off 1 star because of that sauce. Other than that, I wish i had some of that greek...
Read moreI ordered the pork belly gyro bowl and asked for extra rice; I guess little to my knowledge it was at the cost and substitution of the pork belly meat itself. Upsetting.
Although, not as infuriating and insulting as the closing staff that night. As I was eating my food outside on the patio, the staff was quickly pulling in the outside furniture as the clock struck 9PM. Understanding everyone wants to leave home on time, I myself helped stack chairs and offered to move myself and a friend over to a smaller table in hopes to make the job easier for the closing staff. The female worker stated it was all the same. Immediately following the same woman I spoke to came up to us and stated “I’m sorry, I’m kicking you guys out”. That’s okay I stated.
Understanding those customers may be slightly annoying to wait for to finish their meal, however, working food/retail there is an understanding, professionalism and not to forget to mention a common courtesy to allow your customers to finish their meal within a relative time frame. If you think 5 past close is too long of a wait, I don’t want your services or food. You show no value and appreciation for your customers, let alone a lack of professional training for your workers. A simple, “Hi, my apologies but we’re now closed and I must bring in all the furniture including the ones you guys are using. Thank you” would...

Perfect place for a quick bite to eat. Friendly service! Healthy options. Vegetarian options.
My husband ordered the lamb gyro plate, and I ordered the falafel bowl. My bowl was delicious and quite filling! My husband gobbled up his gyro lamb plate.
Clean place. Clean restrooms, gender neutral.
Reasonable prices.
Nothing fancy, but it is all good! We loved this place! We needed a quick bite to eat before driving home. I ordered the falafel pita and my husband ordered the gyro plate/ combo with fries and a drink. We were both very full and satisfied! I wanted to try their Greek Yogurt for dessert, but I was too full. Next time I will save room. The interior is very clean and so is their bathroom. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone in the mood for Greek Food. We sat inside the air conditioned restaurant. There are few tables to sit down and eat, but there is also a large outdoor eating area at this time. Most of the restaurants during the pandemic have extended their seating onto Main Street which is pedestrian only. I sure hope the City of Ventura will keep Main street like this! It makes Main Street feel so cheery...
