This review is specific to catering. The restaurant itself is clean and comfortable but it's not a fancy/ambiance place. I was planning a not-too-fancy wedding reception for 50 people (my brother's wedding), and while I wanted to try to keep costs down... it was also very important to me that the food be DELICIOUS. At first I was looking at some Lebanese catering options, but the food just seemed too basic and not quite savory enough for my taste. I decided to check out Stephen's Greek and I had a wonderful meal there.
Enter Eva. She's a wonderful manager who handles the catering. I walked through the menu with her and in a matter of minutes we designed a feast that included Moussaka, lamb rib chops, chicken and lamb gyro with all the pita bread and fixings, delicious stuffed cabbage rolls, savory green beans, rice, greek salad, hummus, babaganoush, etc. Everything was prepared fresh and ready for me to pick up on the day of the reception (which was on a Sunday during a busy Memorial Day weekend). I had a couple of special requests like putting things in half trays that they executed perfectly. Super friendly.
It was more than enough food to feed the party and frankly I was very happy to have a some leftovers to enjoy the following week. The guests were thrilled and they couldn't stop complementing the food. It was all so easy and great and I feel like I got away with something because the cost was SO REASONABLE given the quality of the food. I very highly recommend Stephens if you want to cater with unique food that is waaaaay better than the average fare and still won't...
Read moreLove this place! Soooo tasty. The restaurant is always very clean and organized. The tables can be pushed together for large parties. They have a huge section of imported ingredients to purchase for cooking at home, it’s not just a restaurant. The people working there are super friendly and can help you with recommendations if you’re not familiar with the menu items. The food itself is fantastic! The gyro combo is a good bet, the salad is unreal, fries are fresh, and the gyro… authentically delicious! They have an outdoor area as well for dining in nicer weather. The only downside in my opinion is the “bar”. It’s pretty small, usually doesn’t even have any barstools for seating, no beer taps, and generally seems like an afterthought. But maybe having a bar doesn’t fit with their preferred restaurant design, so no big deal. Speaking of beer, there’s some Greek beer available that’ll bring you a smile for sure. Hey I’d say give it at least two tries of you’ve never been, but I’m pretty sure you’ll love it on the...
Read moreWe have neen coming to this restaurant for three years now. I first came to this diamond in the rough restaurant on Mother's Day three years ago and have been coming here ever since. The food here is great and the prices are reasonable. The location does seem a little outdated, but the food makes up for the decor. In regards to the dining experience, you will find this place to give a family style vibe with a bit of a Greek bistro experience. The waiters and waitresses seem.to treat you more of a family due to the fact that is family owned. I like that personal feel of kindness when dining at a restaurant. Makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. I just visited for Mother's Day and was not disappointed as always. I ate the Souvlaki Lamb Dinner and it was fantastic. I usually get the Ribeye Dinner plate, but the Ribeye was sold out. The Lamb was just as delicious. No regrets. I do recommend this to anyone. It's just a fantastic...
