Okay so this is gonna be a long one; Kaitlynn, Rachel, and Hailey. Thank you so so so much for your kindness tonight. You asked us how it was going when we pulled up and we said eh we're okay. Truth is; we're not even close.
After several months of not having a drainage system, our basement and foundation have taken quite the hit from flooding from overgrown tree roots in our pipes. As a result, we've been going to plumber after plumber, trying to fix this issue. Over Christmas, we found out many legal battles we're going to have to fight as a result, and to top it all off, my Uncle is in his final stages of his young life, as a result of stage four pancreatic cancer. To say it's been tough is the understatement of the year.
Tonight, when we pulled up to your drive thru, we had just come back from home depot. Why? Our toilet had flooded once again, and after cleaning up the water damaged floors, we had to go get the piping to fix something up ourselves just to make the water stop flooding our house. So when we said "well, it's going" we really meant we just need some tea and a bliss bar, just to take the edge off.
Well you did more than that. We heard the total and thought hm isn't that a bit low? Starbucks is notoriously expensive, but we thought it's worth it. So when we pulled up we asked if everything was on our order. You gave us a large version of what we ordered and double. And told us you simply moved things around, and hoped we had a better night. The tops of our cups ready "feel better" with a smiley face. I don't think you understand how much life that gave us. Thank you so much for blessing us tonight, as the kindness of strangers goes such a long way, and we sincerely cannot thank you enough. These girls deserve a million blessings, and I pray they receive them and so much more. If anyone else takes anything away from this, be kind to someone today. They may need it more...
Read moreDo NOT go into the store to order - if you must, go through the drive thru then park and go inside. You will always be last to be served if you go inside to order.
On May 19th at 8:12pm I ordered ONE iced coffee- very simple drink - and watched 6-7 cars come and go through the drive thru as I waited and watched the lady that took my order count her money, some of which i gave her and may not ever again. (Dunkin Donuts is just as good). I can't imagine how calm and collected she could be while one of her customers was waiting 20 MINUTES (not an exaggeration) for a drink that takes 30 seconds to make.
The poor girl in the drive thru was doing ALL OF THE WORK and sweating, doing a good job too, while the person counting the money was taking her good sweet sloth time to do so - not even close to closing time.
The pretty blonde drive thru girl apologized, but it wasn't her fault. She shouldn't have to do all the work, and even if she did - someone should train each about order of service - drive thru should not get served until there is a lag in cars - then take care of the people who took the time to come in to enjoy your "atmosphere." Our visit took 20 minutes in an empty dining area due to the cashier closing up her register 45 minutes...
Read moreI like going to Starbucks over most coffee shops because it’s always consistent. Not with this one! It’s like the employees don’t know how to make drinks. I like the brown sugar shaken espresso drinks and every single time I order one here, the cup is so full of ice and the amount of liquid is so tiny that I only get three sips from a grande sized drink. This isn’t the case at any other Starbucks location I go to. The other day, I figured I’d try something different and hope that it’s not all ice. I ordered a vanilla sweet cream cold brew.. there was ZERO ice in it. I don’t know what’s going on at this location but it seems like some additional training is needed. I won’t be returning anymore. Tired of spending money and not getting...
