Super China Buffet — Restaurant in Vernon Township

If I could give it "0" I would. I grew up eating at this restaurant and it makes me sad how it is now. It used to be so good, I craved this restaurants food during one of my pregnancys (he's now 6) but today was the last day I'll "eat" here. My mother in law an I stopped for lunch today during a shopping trip and we took about 4 bites and left. The crab was fishy, the wontons were fishy and burnt with no filling. The sweet and sour sauce was thickly filmed over, the breading on the chicken was so soggy when you picked it up it would just slowly fall off. We tried telling them the food wasn't good, wasn't hot, wasn't fresh and they said "we keep it on warmers the foods always warm" it was not they then proceeded to say the food was cold because the a.c. Was on an turned around and walked away from us leaving us at the register. I proceeded to eat my fortune cookie and it was stale so bad I had to spit it out walking to the car. The takeout food is consistently fresh and hot!

Ordered takeout for the first time on a Friday night in March ‘24, four items and wonton soup, and it was ready in less than 20 minutes and PIPING HOT! The food was delicious, roast pork and Singapore mei fun are favorites, and these delivered! We look forward to trying more items from the takeout menu. See photos, that wonton soup was only $4! Initially reluctant, went here because of my son’s persistent requests. Found that if you’re looking for Chinese food in the Meadville area the selection is limited, but this is a good option @ $11.95 in Jan’24.
