Been going to this specific location (far too often) for years now, but I may never return due to some of the people working there and their attitudes and rudeness.
A few weeks ago, we used the app and ordered a cheddar bagel twist, which was apparently out of stock (that's a substantial app problem and happens far more than it should!). The bagel twists are about $3, so they asked me what I wanted instead, and I asked for just a plain bagel with cream cheese. The lady on the drive thru starts ranting about how that costs more than the bagel twist ($3.39, gasp!) and that I can have a plain bagel but have to pay $1.50 for the cream cheese. So I politely said that they don't have what I ordered and paid for and that I don't want to pay over a dollar extra for a plain bagel. She loudly says "WHATEVER" into the mic, and someone else had to tell me to pull up.
Today, I did an app order for a couple drinks and a bagel, one of which was a cold brew with cold foam. Of note, if you order something with cold foam, the app specifically tells you to not order it more than 5 minutes away so the foam doesn't melt. Well, I ordered it around 4-5 minutes away, and when I got to the window, it wasn't quite ready, which I was perfectly fine with. The lady in the back making the drinks, however, clearly was not. She was going on loudly (easy to hear from my car in the drive thru) about "well maybe it would be ready if he wouldn't wait to order until 3 seconds before he gets here!" and other pleasantries.
It's just a long history of this kind of thing, sadly. Some months back I got a coffee for my wife that was super, super bitter. I went back a few hours later and asked them to remake it, and the big guy with tattoos practically yanked the drink out of my hand while saying "From this morning? Why'd you wait so long to come back then? I shouldn't even remake it, but I will. Ugh, hours ago!"
There are several people here who are quite nice and kind (including the manager, Michelle or Melissa, I believe!), but these experiences have completely soured me on this location. I just can't go back and continue to be treated like...
Read moreOver the course of the past two months, I have noticed suspicious behavior occurring at this particular Dunkin' location. Below I have outlined what occurred:
Gift Cards I currently work at a company with over 50 employees and we will purchase Dunkin' gift cards from this location as gifts to staff members. On TWO occasions, we have purchased gift cards and money has not been loaded onto the cards and we were told a recipe could not be printed. In total, this is $60 of gift cards never loaded. Unfortunately, we have been unable to prove to them that we purchased the gift cards from that store in order to get a refund due to no recipe.
"Discontinued product" On multiple occasions, this location will state a product has been discontinued and they are unable to make it. This includes the "Chi", "refreshers" and "bubbles". It is understood that these items do get discontinued as the seasons change and with shortages, however at the time of these statements, I went to another location at 83 Talcottville Rd Vernon Rockville Ct 06066 or 30 Lafayette Sq. Vernon Ct 06066, ( both amazing stores with amazing workers who are very friendly and kind) and they had the item in stock and stated the item was not discontinued.
Incorrect orders/ Deliveries When ordering delivery from this store to our company (about 5 doors down), the orders are consistently incorrect and missing items. This includes missing food items (delivery 3rd party stating there was no other items at the store) items made with allergy ingredients specifically...
I used to go to this dunkin daily on my way to work. I order the same thing daily however the last 5 times or so my order has been extremely off.
Large iced latte , takes okay in the beginning then I get not even a few sips down and it tastes like straight up chemicals.... it has happened with every latte I get from this location. Does not matter if I change the swirl or milk type. Which leads me to believe someone is not cleaning the machine properly.
Second
I order a bagle not toasted and the last 3 times they gave it to me toasted. Which isn't a huge deal but I don't eat it right away because I have to drive to work so I usually toast it when I get to work. Only to find out if I toast it now ... its going to be burnt because its already been toasted.
Ya can't say anything to anyone. I've asked for a coffee to be remade before and they took it and poured it from 1 cup to another and tried to re hand it to me. I use to manage a dunkin and I was always held to higher standards then this and my crew was tooo.
Please look into this latte matter if the machines are being cleaned right peope are...
