Not only did their website state that they were open until 5 pm but the google business listing did as well. When we had to leave our first restaurant because of poor service, we pulled an audible and walked all the way to Chelsea's. There was no obvious front door so we walked around back. There were Chelsea's employees loading up a vehicle with what looked like some catered dishes. It was 4:30 pm so we asked where the front door is, the "sandwich Chef" did not tell us how to enter he simply and rudely stated that they close at 4 pm. I told him the website and google both state that they're open till 5 pm. My wife said "you need to change it then or let people know." He unapologetic-ally said in a smart a$$ manner with rude and perfectly timed out pauses and wearing a defensive, smart a$$ eye rolled face "uhhhhhh...we...did, we gave a flyer to all of our regular customers...ssssorry." I replied that, we're not from Vero and they need to change their hours of operation on the internet and that we just walked many blocks to get there. He didn't even reply. Guess they're not interested in new business. Good luck with your "regulars." I think there is something in the water in Vero, everyone seems to have this snobby, holier than thou attitude. It's not that great, there are better beaches with more to do...
Read moreI am rating Chelsea’s a two star because of the service. My boyfriend and I went to Chelsea’s for breakfast this morning (Saturday.) the owner greeted us and asked me if I knew what I wanted immediately, which is great! Except, when I didn’t answer right away she said “well, I’m honing to let you look because I have coffee to make.” I scramble to figure out what I want and end up with an Amazonian bowl that another customer said they ordered by mistake! I didn’t want it to go to waste! I get my coffee and bowl and sit down while my boyfriend orders his breakfast. He orders a bowl and coffee and sits with me. I start eating my breakfast and he is waiting...and waiting... and waiting for his food! 35 minutes later he gets up to ask about his bowl and coffee. Which the girl making bowls asks if she can take his order...he asks about his food he has already ordered. She says she will get it for him. She comes back with his coffee and tells him they lost his ticket. 15 minutes later he still doesn’t have his food and I am completely finished with my breakfast... horrible! Usually this place is very good... but today was a...
Read moreA Hidden Gem in Vero! Chelsea’s Gourmet Market is an absolute treasure in Vero Beach. Their smoothie bowls are hands down the best in town—fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. I especially love the acai bowl topped with fresh fruit and granola—it’s both satisfying and refreshing.
The coffee is equally impressive. Whether you’re into a classic cappuccino or an iced oat milk latte, Chelsea’s baristas get it just right every time. The ambiance is cozy and stylish, making it the perfect spot for a casual breakfast, a quick coffee run, or even getting a little work done.
The staff is warm and welcoming, and everything from the fresh ingredients to the thoughtfully curated market items reflects their attention to quality. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re...
