First time in Vero Beach, First time at Nino's corner Italian restaurant. Ordered an appetizer of garlic knots, and they were fantastic! Nice and soft covered in a garlic butter sauce and served with Nino's amazing marinara sauce, so good! We ordered the Nino's special with onions, green bell peppers, mushrooms, pepperoni, and sausage. This pizza has a great crust and great sauce, and they all blend well with the toppings! This place was buzzing with customers, and the staff was doing great to keep up with it all. When I come back to Vero Beach, I will be going back to Nino's Corner Italian restaurant!
So I went back to Nino's the next day because I enjoyed their food so much. Only this time, I ordered online to pick up one of their Strombolis, the eggplant rollatini, and three tortellini all panna. When I went to pick it up, the girl who helped me had been standing off to the side while I waited for customers in front of me. Once those customers were done paying with another employee, this dark-haired girl whose name I did not get asked if she could help me. I have my name she then began to read other orders to me, which I said no to. Asked if I was picking up for Jackie, I said no and repeated my name. Another employee day part of my order and gave it to this dark-haired girl who handed to me. Drove home and discovered the Stromboli was missing and had to drive back, my bad for double checking my order. When I got back to Nino's, the same girl asked to help me, and another employee said they forgot my Stromboli. The dark-haired girl then grabbed my Stromboli and handed it to me, and seemed upset by this. I'm not sure what was going on with this employee today, but the service I got the second day may change my mind about returning...
Read moreAfter going to this place for 15 years, I am wholeheartedly so disappointed and extremely sad for the owner to have placed a manager like Pino in this position. I can honestly say that my family patrons this restaurant once a week and we always order the same thing a large Margarita pizza and mild chicken wings ( buffalo) and a couple of Arnold Palmers. Today again we ordered the same, unfortunately; the wings were made with a mix of buffalo and BBQ sauce, I had two and my mom ate one 3 out of 10. I told our waitress that the sauce had BBQ in it and did not taste good. Then this condescending young man Pino ( manager) came over with the 10 wings and asked what was wrong, I proceeded to tell him that there was BBQ sauce mixed with the buffalo and did not taste good. He then proceeded to tell me that because we had eaten 3 of the 10 he still had to charge us full price, when I asked to please speak with the manager he STATED HE WAS THE MANAGER. Ok great so I asked if he could just make ones with buffalo, he said sure I’ll make you those but I will also charge you for these!!! Anyway, when the bill came I thought, as a manager of a restaurant and the staff knowing us so well for going there for sooo many years would discount the weird mixture chicken wings, but instead charged us the full price of the wings and to top it off charged us $5 extra for a margarita pizza ( for toppings). A margarita pizza has tomato and basil!!!! No extra toppings there. The owner who I have met on several occasions at the beach side location is a lovely Italian man, I can not see how he has hired such a buffoon like Pino, all I can think is the kid needed a job and is part of the family. Goodby Ninos. This was not right and extremely...
Read moreOk. So picture this, it's Thursday evening and I'm cruising the streets of Vero Beach and my Nissan Maxima. And I have been having cravings for a juicy big beef burger from ninos corner. Drove there to order the goods to satisfy my cravings. After receiving the sandwich I proceeded to drive back to the crib but the auroma was getting the better of me and I couldn't wait to indulge. As I unstapled the bag and reached in to grab the foiled covered sandwich I felt worth on one side and frozen on the other. Yes that's right you heard me saying Frozen! Now from previous visits at any Burger joint I know that you're not supposed to feel any coldness coming from any sandwich. And that was not the case here. So I turn my car around and went back to the restaurant to inform them that I have received a cold sandwich. I get there and the cashier immediately asked me what's wrong? So I asked her for her hand and I put the cold side of the sandwich in her hand. Immediately she says that's not good. And then proceeds to walk in the back to inform them that the sandwich was cold. I asked to speak with the manager and he didn't even come to the front to address the issue he blatantly delegated communication to other employees to speak to me. Which I thought was really rude! And then I asked for a complimentary fry while I wait for a fresh sandwich and he told the cashier that's not possible. So with that being said I will never ever visit this...
