I have been hoping Panda Express would come to Vero Beach but then Bambuu came along and satisfied my American Chinese food cravings! Many of the foods were very similar like the fried rice, lo mein, orange chicken, egg rolls, and cream cheese rangoon. I love that they also have udon noodles and lots of healthy options too (like brown rice, quinoa, spinach, and kale). And the yum yum sauce (like spicy mayo) is very good. Instead of serving on plates, they are served in bowls. I came, expecting Panda Express quality and I think this was a little fresher and had more of the charred wok-hei taste and smell, which I love!

I only had one complaint. I tried to make it easy on both me and on the servers by typing my order in a list so that they could read it instead of trying to understand me through my mask. That worked perfectly! But if I had seen the Honey Sesame Shrimp, I would not have gotten it. It was NOTHING like I expected. I think they put the wrong food item out. It was plain shrimp with green peppers. It was not at all sweet and there was no sesame. I hope that isn't their version of Honey Sesame Shrimp. I thought it would be more like the Sesame Chicken with batter fried shrimp and sweet sauce. Hopefully that was an error and they will have the Honey Sesame Shrimp like I'm expecting the next time I go.

I will definitely be back for the Orange Chicken and Bourbon Chicken. The beef in the Beef With Vegetables is suuuuper tender. The Kimchi Green Beans were pretty flavorless - not even spicy. The Mongolian Chicken I think was battered? It was just ok - more like a soggy breading than batter but the flavor was good. Chicken egg rolls were ok, but did have an odd smell. I didn't like the sauce packets and I used my own Thai Sweet Chili Sauce when I got home. I think the Cream Cheese Rangoons had been sitting there a while and were a bit dried out. But I'm sure they were great when they were fresher and they were good in the Yum Yum sauce. Overall, it was a great first experience and I will be back whenever I have my "Panda...

Bambuu is a budget chain, owned by the MDP group. At least at the mall, you get plenty of salt, pepper, and hot sauces of your choice, not to mention utensils, in bigger portions at a more economic price. The gluten free noodles are served cold, and other than that, you can have a small scoop of sad looking vegeteables, neither of which arrives even close to the top of the bowl. A scoop of noodles and "mixed vegetables" (broccoli, carrots, green zucchini), for $8.55. When I asked the manager for salt and pepper, I was informed that they did not use it at their restaurant, so therefore, those of us who season our own food, like at every other restaurant around the globe are unable to do so. Likewise, you cannot add any flavor to your sad looking food, such as hot sauce, which they also have at the mall, in the form of red pepper flakes or red pepper sauce. They had run out of knives, no apology for that either. I informed the manager, that as a Celiac, I was not prepared to pay $8.55 for this tasteless meal. The manager offered a small tablespoon of corn and vinegar, which would have normally cost .50 each. The vegetables in the vinegar were almost invisible. The manager ended the exchange by saying, "You are lucky that we even have something that Celiacs can eat, most places do not." Telling me that I am "lucky" that he can give me 4 vegetables and noodles was the culmination of his arrogant behavior. I can make my own Asian food at home, for less than...

Massive disappointment. I don't take writing 1 star reviews lightly, especially for a kosher restaurant. My fav place for Chinese takeout is on a summer break and so we have this place a try. Hubby picked up the $115 order. Opening up the fancy containers that would make it impossible to check your order, I immediately noticed how LITTLE food we apparently bought. I'm a pro chef myself (just got home from a trip to CA,feel jet lagged) and I weighed each item B4 calling the restaurant back. 1 order of sweet and sour chix weighed a "whopping" 1lb 10oz. It was the only item to even half fill the container. 1order of "orange beef" (inedible=fatty mystery meat) was just over a lb at 17ozs. The sesame chix was not even a lb was 15ozs. Considering that these entrees were close to $30 a piece, it was disappointing. I called the restaurant to ask why the discrepancy in portion sizes and the gentleman that answers the phone offered NOTHING as a solution and just said ",we have never had someone order food and then weigh it." When I told him that I'm a pro chef myself (having owned a kosher catering co in SF,CA), he told me that he would "talk to his chef." For whatever that is worth. We also got an order of veg lo mein that was rubbery and flavorless. Barely any veg. I didn't weigh it or take pic bc I'm tired and disappointed. Save your $ and go...

Sunday, May 28th, 2023 3:30pm 2 pp for lunch $27.24 Memorial Day weekend We were in the mood for Asian and we found this place near by which we found very similar to Cajun Grill that you find at the local mall or also Panda Express but what I love about this location is they offered boba tea and allowed you sample/taste test before ordering. We were served by Civanna who was exceptionally splendid from her greeting, to her menu knowledge, packaging our food/drinks (free refills btw) and provided suggestions/recommendations, and processed our order. She was perfection from start to finish and God bless her patience with folks not knowing what they want or being indecisive between so many delicious items. We enjoyed our food/drinks, perfect portion size and everything cooked fresh. I must come back and try their boba tea as Civanna offered a tasting of the coconut one and it was delicious. Thanks again to the entire crew that made todays lunch fantastic.

Food portions have been biased and spoken to the owner about it and he cares not to give a resolve or do better. I have been here twice and its not like Panda Express. They cheat you out rice and pasta claiming a pinch of pasta with Tongs is one portion. The bowl size is small and its the ONLY SIZE THEY USE THERE😵‍💫.Panda Express smallest plate is Bambuu One size Fits all. Sadly they dont nearly give you anything on it unless you buy their most expensive version 2 base 3 options.Which is what i bought and still got nothing.I wont invest in this company he treat his food like he's operating it like a Casino ..🤬📢 DONT DO WASTE YOUR TIME UNLESS YOU EAT LITE OR JUST WANT TO IGNORE A HONEST REVIEW😂. Its you 💵💵✋💯 a drink cup is almost the same diameter of the One Size Fits All Bowl 😂😂
