My son and I were headed to Waldos and saw this place. We decided to give it a try. I believe this place should be a 4 or a 5. The garlic bread they brought out before our Calamari and Salads was amazing. The Calamari was delicious. Our salads were excellent. My dinner was very gritty. Like I was eating dirt. I poked around and found a clam packed full of mud. I had to send it back. The rolls at this point coming out were like Rhodes frozen rolls. Now our waitress seemed afraid to come back to our table. She forgot my drink that I requested. We gave up and asked for our check. I do believe this is not normal for them. I insisted my son eat while his dinner was hot. When my replacement finally came I cancelled the drink order she forgot and asked for my replacement dinner to be boxed to go. She brought a little plastic container with a dessert (Tierra misu?) for our troubles. At no point did the chef or manager come to our table to talk with us. Serving mud filled seafood should have prompted a Manager or the chef to come out. We were charged full price for our meals. The mud was a free bonus I guess. The waitress was embarrassed and just avoided us. You can do better and I'll try it again next time I come to Vero. Picture is my dinner in the go box after...

I love ❤️ pomodoro grille for SO many reasons. I’m fact my husband and i go there practically every Saturday night. First off, being that were in a pandemic, the waiters wear their masks properly over their nose and mouth, secondly they have outdoor dining, thirdly their food is consistently great, I get the Zuppa de pesce which I love with a passion in the wine garlic and basil sauce. I can’t eat calamari so I ask to double up on the mussels which they happily oblige. Also I can’t eat a lot of pasta and they gladly oblige being light on the linguine. Their home baked garlic rolls are to die for. Their creamy onion dressing is unique and very tasty. My husband loves their chicken Parmesan. I’ve also had their veal Marsala which is excellent. Sauce is the best and veal is very tender. I’m a gourmet cook at home and only eat out once a week so I’m very discerning about my food.

Service is excellent. It’s never overcrowded- a big concern during this pandemic. And best of all the prices are very reasonable.

I highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed. As for the negative comments about service, I’ve not...

Unfortunately Pomodoro Grill does not honor they own own summer specials. We presented a complimentary glass of house wine coupon with each entree to the waiter (Brandon) before ordering appetizers, 5 entrees, and desert. He agreed that the promotion would be acceptable. When the bill arrived the was no credit for our first glasses of wine. Apparently, Lisa, the manager, told the waiter not to credit everyone’s first glass of house wine with the 5 entrees. Had that been the policy we should have been told before ordering. Very deceitful practice on Lisa’s part.

If you are looking for ordinary Italian food (I worked in Naples, Italy and Catania, Sicily for 10 years and have some idea of good service and great Italian food) then try Pomodoro’s, otherwise dine at one of the other very good Italian restaurants in Vero. ie - Darios, Scampi Grill, Di Mare, buon appetito - They welcome and honor...

1 of our All Time Favorites... Hands down. We go here for NY eve, Both birthdays and more. The only thing wrong with food is that certain items I enjoy, such as-- truth:they serve Fettuccine Alfredo, only, it's not listed on menu. And they used spaghetti noodles with white sauce, not tossed. But it remains a favorite. I have seen people dressed in wrinkled old clothes and it's a candle lit elegant restaurant. Dress the part! "Every girl crazy bout a sharp dressed man,"as ZZTop sang! Women.. break out your jewelry or scarves. It will automatically lift your spirits if you look 😊 the part... Seating in private, individual tents outside or around sculpture and paintings inside.. Bon appetit Bella's et monsieurs! (Sp terrible... Lol) Wonderful Italian!

Last night we chose Pomodoro Grill to celebrate our 35th year friendship dinner. The four of us enjoyed the evening! An absolute a wonderful place to create lasting memories! The food was outstanding!! Our server Jared was spot on with his recommendations and the flow of appetizers, salads, entrees, drinks and desserts. I was looking forward to the Tiramisu which is very popular, however last night they ran out before I ordered. Next time, I will order before dinner:) The sign at our table said "Stressed spelled backwards is Desserts!" We had a good laugh and ordered the cheesecake! Yummy!
