Almost missed this place ! The name says it all ! The holy grail of pastries, and a super lucky day, was conducting a bakery search and found the place and the internet phone number given was no longer in service , being in route and near by decided to check in . The place looked operational but closed ! Yep another Florida business bites the dust!! Continued my search for the morning then off to work. A week later had a hour to search again and having been disappointed with various results (residing in Vero 10 months) decided to revisit “slice of Paris “ and came up with a phone number that was answered!! Absolutely one of the most authentic French bakeries you will find in the area. Everything g is baked fresh every single day. Sal gets up at 3am to start the day so that we can have the most amazing delicacies. His croissants are the best I have had since being in France. His ham and cheese croissant is heaven. There are SOOOO many choices to pick from for you libation along with the most delicious espresso drinks. His fresh baked bread is downright delicious with usually 3-4 types to choose from. Warm and crusty - the smell takes over your senses. From the moment you open the door and the fresh baked smell of danishes, turnovers and baked goods, your mouth begins to water. I would give this place a caution sign if it was an option. Went in all excited, even though they had only been open 30 minutes they were already out of the breakfast croissants. I ordered a cinnamon roll and a cappuccino. I asked the man if it had sugar in it. He went crazy. Became all angry and began to shout at me. With the shouting I left it behind even though I had paid for it. Most of the baked goods are made somewhere else and shipped in. The atmosphere is scary. The man is a time bomb, wife is quiet and bitter. Not at all a french bakery. A dive with an angry married couple in a strip mall. No bread, as in none. Run from this place.
