Unfortunately, this location is hit or miss. Sometimes the employees are friendly, bubbly and glad to be at work; while other times they are not paying attention, making mistakes and short with you. A few days ago we placed an order through the drive thru. The young lady took our order and asked for my rewards number (or phone number). I provided my phone number to her and she told me the price of the food.
I forgot that I had a free bagel...it was June 30th and I hadn't taken advantage of the free bagel offer. She seemed confused. She told me what bagels were available and I ordered the cinnamon crunch bagel. She told me the price and I stated that I wanted it to come from my free bagel deal. She sounded like she didn't know what I was talking about.
When we pulled up to the drive-thru window I mentioned the free bagel deal again. I asked her "when does it expire" and she told me today as in June 30th being the last day. I said I was happy that I placed the order because I had not taken advantage of the free bagel deal all month. She giggled awkwardly which should have been an indication to me that she still didn't know what I was talking about. Today July 2nd I'm looking at my email and I see that the deal is good until July 15th. Unfortunately this employee was not familiar with the current deals being offered to Panera customers. It was a confusing conversation that could have been avoided had the employee understood what...
Read moreOver the past two years or so I have placed more than 10 mobile orders from this Panera and have had a bad experience with at least 5 out of those 10 orders. On these occasions, my order was placed on the pick-up shelf with some items missing. It seems like a matter of chance whether or not they will give you the correct items or forget an entire part of your order. To avoid this problem, I recommend checking your bag before leaving the store because it seems like the employees here struggle with counting beyond 2 when it comes to the number of sandwiches in the bag. Also, if you order a salad to-go, there is an 80% chance they will forget to include the dressing. Ordered a cookie? Well those are thin items you know, so they can't remember if it made it into the bag or not.
Due to these consistent issues, I have decided not to order from this Panera again, especially considering the price of the food -- arriving home to find they "forgot" your $12 sandwich is...
Read moreMy best friend and I started frequenting the local Panera Bread in Victorville. As I was the one who used to frequent them up in Puget Sound, WA. The cashier / representative would not allow my friend to order a half ham sandwich. This restaurant will not work with their customers to order sandwiches the way they want it. My friend stormed out of the Panera Bread in Victorville and vowing never to return. I have never seen him mad like this. This restaurant chain will never be used by me or my friends or family ever again or in the future. From now on, a Franchise starting with the letter "S" will be frequented by us in the future. At least they will work with you how you like your sandwich to be made to your "Order" and not the attitude of Panera Bread, take it or leave it, as a paying customer! Will not recommend to anyone I know, or...
