Update: response from owner: just came back today to give it another shot, ordered a chicken sandwich and fries. I watched them microwave my sandwich TWICE along with the fries. The chicken was burnt and dry so I sent it back. The lady cook was BIG MAD and said some nasty things about me up at the counter. It’s not a big restaurant and voices are carried far. She in a display of anger used her hands to bend the chicken in half and say it was fine and wanted it served back to me. Attitude much? They REMICROWAVED the fries again, but the manager on today had them remake the fries so it wouldn’t be reheated 4-5 times. They rely on that microwave, and for a place that should be serving fresh made food, and as a person who doesn’t own a microwave because I do not like them, it’s annoying to have my food prepared in a microwave when it should be properly fried. French fries and fried chicken shouldn’t be microwaved. Oh also, when the new sandwich came out, the cook had decided to be petty and spiteful by serving me a spicy chicken sandwich instead of the regular one I ordered. It was fine though, I enjoy spicy food, it’s just not what I ordered and could tell the malicious intent behind her actions. Glad I didn’t have any food allergies over her actions. She’s a liability if she does cause someone harm by purposely serving something to the wrong person.
Everything cooked sits on the counter, gets stuck in the microwave once or twice before it’s served. Grill is not managed that well when you have to microwave “fresh” cooked eggs, pancakes, bacon, grits, and anything else ordered/served. Read moreI usually love to order breakfast from this location and have become very friendly with a couple of the waitresses, however, today blew it out of the water. I'll preface this by saying that this location has been struggling with keeping employees and having staff available for proper operation. They still try to hang in there BUT this morning I came in to place a 'to go order' and was turned away bc the one and only cook available (who was also the manager apparently) had "too many orders to catch up with" so they were turning anyone and everyone else away! THAT is the worst possible business model I have EVER WITNESSED! ! I responded that I would be totally fine with leaving my number and leaving to wait however long it may take to get to my order. I was flatly told "no". Although I try to remain understanding of the issues plaguing this location, I am completely disappointed and shocked that a restaurant would straight up TURN CUSTOMERS AWAY. Seems a little better to at least offer to serve and make clear that it could be a very long wait, thus letting the customer choose to stay our go.......
