I went thru drive thru and was offered the 12 piece meal for 25+$. I said that sounds good... I didn't think she heard me so I backed up and waited for someone to come back on intercom. Probably around a minute. Finally I said hello... They said can I help you so I ordered the special with my 3 sides and was told to pull around... No price there... I got to the window and she said 43+$... And I was like I ordered the special and it was 25+ but now you saying 43+ $. I said what happened. She said you got large sides, I said no I didn't, you asked me what sides and I told you... This child laughed in my face and closes the window and looks over her shoulder and says something I didn't understand while laughing. The blonde wig girl came over to register and said 27+ $. I said what is going on. She just tried to charge me 43$ for this meal deal. The 1st cashier was laughing and looking at the blonde wig cashier as she's telling me that the chic was new.. I told her they needed to train them before they put them on a register and this woman/ girl / blonde wig heifer looked at me and said have a good night while laughing.... Well, that didn't go over too well with me at the moment... They were both laughing that I complained about being charged 15$ more for my meal than I should of been... I sit at the window till she came back and I told her I would be reporting this and she laughs and closes the window again... I have never been so disrespected in my life. I have never written a review in my life... Kentucky fried chicken in vidalia GA needs a complete rehaul if they allow their employees to treat customers this way. Also ... I had to eat chicken that had broken bones and take bone slivers out of my mouth when I attempted to enjoy the dried out but somehow undercooked ¿KFC? chicken at home. The mashed potatoes were like cheap fake stuff. The gravy for it seemed like flavored water. The "cheese" on the macaroni tasted like an oil product. The employees didn't acknowledge me for 5 minutes. Then, a "lady" in an improperly worn covid mask (only one that I interacted with or mask wearer saw there) in the "restaurant" that I could barely understand because of her lack of annunciation and slurring "took" my order. She seemed to barely understand my order and was apparently stoned, overworked, or undertrained. This is my 8th visit to this location after I moved back here 3 years ago. 3 of those times I left before I was even greeted by any employee. It wasn't a full 5 minutes before someone even acknowledged me today. However, I heard the ¿employees? discussing plans for last night as I waited to be acknowledged as my Mom with leukemia in the car, disabled Aunt, and ophaned nephew at home waited for quality food. My Aunt worked at several real KFC stores before she became disabled and she has been disappointed with the service and quality from this location since she moved back also. Even the bathroom was double disappointing. YUM brands, PLEASE do something, even eliminate it as an option, even though this KFC is our only option locally. Then there were these two idiots in the drive thru line, standing outside of their vehicle. Who decided to have a social hour while in line. The vehicles were ahead of these idiots, had advanced and there was a two car gap. One of the idiots says, I guess I need to pull forward. Nothing escapes his keen observation. It took approximately 5 minutes to arrive at the speaker to place my order. The employee asked to give her a moment. That moment turns into 5 minutes. While waiting, I cough due to me recovering from a recent cold. The employee says, âyou ainât got to cough in my earâ. I said excuse me, I recovering from a cold. I was in my vehicle. Itâs not like, I went to the speaker and started cough intentionally. I placed my order and I rounded the corner, there were no vehicles, in line. Which made be think, she forgot me or she didnât care. I have so many negative experiences at this restaurant. I figured maybe give them a chance. Well for the past months, nothing has changed.
