Unenthusiastic served. Restaurant was not busy at 1:30. Took a while to place our order for drink. We gave our menu order at the same time. Water came out with no lemon. I asked again for my lemon and was told she would Have to go cut up a lemon 🤷🏼♀️ - never did get my lemon Very expensive rib eye & 1/2 a slab of ribs. I asked for the baked sweet potato with extra butter. Enjoyed a good a good salad bar. Was about to go back for more when our food finally arrived. Mine was rare, my friends, well. We thought the knives were really really dull. Nope the steak was just that tuff 😔. Nothing on the plate was warm, much less hot. A scoop of sour cream in our potatoes, no butter. I mentioned mine was suppose to be a baked sweet potato… a look of surprise brought out “Oh, we sold out”. Asked again for extra butter & my lemon for my water. Good while later we were brought out butter & sour cream… at that time there was no way the butter would melt in the potato and I said so. Still no lemon. She said she’d bring me another potato. We both told her the steaks were not tender at all. She shrugged and mentioned they had a new supplier. She said the sirloins were more tender. My friend was going to order a plate to take home to her husband, asked if the sirloin really was more tender… she shrugged and said she didn’t eat steak so she really couldn’t say. She cancelled the take home order. The ribs were very tender & tasty even at room temperature. I always tip 20% or more based on service & concern for our meal. With so many Ruby Tuesdays closing, Vidalia has the opportunity to stand out as a great example of what a really good restaurant Ruby Tuesday use to be years ago. Sadly, this will be my last visit to RT’s in...

Note: This was the only place in the entire area we found on Google maps to get a sit down/waiter/bartender experience in the area. I was meeting a friend, and both of us live a good distance apart. This was all we could find.
Review: Hadn't been here 5 minutes and someone's apologizing for the yelling and fighting going on in the kitchen. It took a minute to understand what they were apologizing for until we got settled. There is some serious arguing / yelling going on in the kitchen. Apparently between the manager and another kitchen employee. Cussing was involved...(something unkind about someone's mother).
Given the status in the kitchen, we knew the food would take longer than whatever "normal" is, but the food took....forever. Well over 30 minutes, and I saw a LOT of food come out of the kitchen, so I felt like we got missed..but was catching up with a friend so we were patient.
When it finally came out, sadly it was so bad (tired/undesirable/burger bun was stale) we politely returned it, asked to just pay our bill so we could leave...without eating. I've never done that.
The bartender was kind, and only charged us for the drinks.
All the above is straight fact. My opinion:
The odds of me ever being in middle Georgia and needing a meal is pretty much zero, but I will tell stories about this being one of the worst restaurant experiences of my life for...
Read moreUpon arriving at this Establishment there was not a waiter or waitress in the foyer waiting to greet guests. I navigated my own way to seat myself and smelled a strong odor of fish in the dining room. Could have been a customer food but still unacceptable, period. The waitress heather was very rude & impatient, don’t understand what her problem is or what day she was having but Heather ruined my experience. Heather doesn’t listen to her customers, she doesn’t give out straws, don’t come make refills or follow instructions as an adult. Which is why heather didn’t get a tip left from ME. Zucchini is always small and very soft and the temperature of the food is always cold. The salad bar is rarely ever cleaned with lettuce on the floor, dressing on the bar and crispy onions on side of the bowl, a complete mess! Someone needs to be paying attention to the salad bar at all times ensuring its presentation is subpar. Clearly this location is old and id suggest NEW CARPET!!! The current carpet is old, stink and mold growing underneath. Anyone can get sick breathing that mold in from the carpet. This establishment is going downhill and not enough people are saying anything about it. Me personally I want a fiver star atmosphere where I eat and spend my money. And last but not least THE BATHROOMS ARE STANKING AND ALWAYS DIRTY, CLEAN THAT...
