Tldr; creative menu with unique dishes, great original cocktails, cozy atmosphere, great service; give it a try! Visited today for the first time. Beautiful menues with tons of options without being overwhelming and with a unique take (something I have not seen before): menu had small comment bubbles with tips from the chef, highlighting new items, and favorite recommendations. Just such a small details but it enhanced the experience. Staff was very helpful with recommendations for both dishes and drinks. Ended up ordering four dishes to try their cousine and everything was great. Crispy duck was a bit salty but once mixed with rice it was good. The cocktails are unique in both name and ingredients. Delicious and well made. Several places overdo the ice or skimp on the alcohol. Not here. Great drinks! One drink had infused ice with chilly and spices which took the drink to another level. Again, small details that make this place stand out. The atmosphere is modern, cozy and intimate. Prices are affordable and well worth the visit. Will definitely recommend and will be visiting again. P.s. receipt had an additional "town tax". Not sure what it is. I wish restaurant stop adding these additional taxes and just adjust their prices accordingly. Have seen it in many places. :(

The space is very nice! Loved the feel, it didn’t feel like a chain restaurant, interior design was very nicely done — ok onto the food. The appetizers (unfortunately not pictured) was AMAZING! We got the Satay… the cucumber relish, ohhhhh my! So good & the peanut sauce… I could bathe in it! My husband got the cashew chicken and liked it, I got the crispy basil. Make sure you tell them what level spicy you want it. I was debating between that and the coconut curry chicken, but decided to try something new. I liked it, but I wasn’t head over heels for, I will say this though… we’ll be back!!! I’ll be trying the coconut curry next time. Definitely a must try if you’re local to the area! Oh and get the mango tango.

Back again 6 months later: My New Favorite! Drunken Noodles with Seafood! Nice spicing, generous portions of shrimp, squid, and mussels. Went for their re-branding opening. New head chef. Two glasses of wine each, Crab Ragoon for starters (comes with 5 pieces and a lightly creamed filling). We had the rice noodles dish and the Thai fried rice with seafood. Noodles were spiced well. Fried rice was lightly spiced which allowed the individual seafood (shrimp, muscles, and squid) tastes to shine through. Will certainly be back.

This restaurant used to be Tum Yum Thai. Same layout but it has an updated look, having been renovated and new name. The decor is a little more esthetically pleasant and a bit trendier, but a little on the darker side for interior lighting. I’m not sure if it’s that same owners or not, but the vibe was similar. Maybe that’s because it’s the same location and still Thai food. The chairs were comfortable, and eclectic. The music playing in the background went from a Thai style theme to American soft rock, with hints of Latin ballads wafting from the general direction of the kitchen.

We had the bean curd kaprow and beef kaprow. The food was a little on the salty side for me, thank goodness for the white rice, but the flavor and tenderness of the beef were on point. Both tender and juicy bits of beef in a spicy basil sauce. I also ordered a Thai iced coffee, which was on the sweeter side and resembled more of a desert than coffee.

While there weren’t any callouts the service was generally good. No wait in an almost empty restaurant, for Saturday afternoon. Tye food was ordered and presented pretty quickly, and the host/server was attentive.

There are any number of Thai restaurants in the area that, and while this one had decent food and service didn’t leave me with an anticipation to return. If I do happen to go back I might prefer trying one of the restaurants specialty...

There are a number of good Thai restaurants in Northern Virginia. However, this is our favorite- our go-to place when we crave Thai. The food is as good as we've found. There's a list of lunch specials which cover the gamut of standard Thai dishes- fried rice, several curries and other standards. All of these are very good, and the owner is quite willing to customize them if you want something a little different. Spice levels can be adjusted to personal taste.

I prefer to order from the dinner menu, and usually ask for a recommendation from the server. I've never been disappointed. The noodle dishes especially have been unusual and delicious, as have some of the curries not on the lunch menu.

The decor is outstanding. It changes periodically to fit the season (right now it's a celebration of cherry blossoms/ Valentine). At Christmas it was filled with a combination of western and eastern holiday decorations. Highly...
