The bagel sandwiches are very good-Five stars there, and really enjoyed the farmhouse and the brisket sandwiches. However, prices are EXTREMELY high. $15 dollars for a bagel sandwich is wild! Maybe do a combo deal with drink, chips/hash brown for $15, but sandwich alone for $15 is crazy high in my option. I also usually go with $2 for an iced tea, a bit over $1 for some chips, and $2.29 for a Hash Brown...that they forgot to put in the bag along with my sandwich. Food is great, but not the best service unfortunately. When I ordered my farmhouse earlier in the week, I asked to swap out the ham slices for a sausage patty, just a simple swap and I had to explain and repeat 4 times until the person taking my order understood what I was asking. Then today, I asked for the brisket sandwich and a hash brown. I took my order and headed out the door to get back to work before my lunch break ended, and when I opened the bag, my hash brown wasn't in there. So if you go there, they have great tasting bagel sandwiches but be prepared to pay a pretty penny for your order, and always double check your order before leaving, as it seems one of their biggest issues is messing up orders and understanding what customers want, thus forgetting items or messing up the sandwiches.
Manhattan Bagel-Telling me after I post my review, to purchase more overpriced bagels to get a "deal" every once in a while is a joke right? Also, the link you posted doesn't even work... Sadly, if you just offered a reasonable price and trained your employees to perform better customer service, this would be a regular stop for me, but sadly, I wont be returning any time soon and am dropping you from my initial 2-star...
Read moreBARE HAND BAGEL SANDWICHES HERE! THEY MAKE SANDWICHES WITHOUT GLOVES.🤢🤮 I went here this morning to order a breakfast sandwich. While I waited for the sandwich to be made, I noticed young ladies touching peoples food with no gloves on. I think that is disgusting to say the least especially since I visually saw her recycling the same glove for 3 different sandwiches, taking it on and off laying it on the counter. They also were touching food, then other surfaces and then go back to touching the food. SMH While observing all this, one of the young ladies touch my breakfast sandwich barehand, and one glove. After they attempted to hand me the bag, I told her I would prefer her make me another sandwich using two gloves. At this time two of the young ladies started speaking to each other in Spanish, probably about me, and I do not care. They had the audacity to have an attitude because I asked him to make another sandwich wearing gloves. I’m not sure why she was touching food barehanded thinking that was ok but It’s NOT! I figured everyone that eats here has a right to know what goes on behind the scenes here. Then I get to work and open the sandwich and it’s made incorrectly. I threw it away, waste of money...
Read moreThis was my first time coming to Manhattan Bagel. I ordered a jalapeño cheddar bagel. I have ordered from hundreds of different bagel places in my life. When I started to eat the bagel, there was no spice, jalapeño, after kick. Nothing tasted in the bagel except cheddar. The cheese completely overpowered the bagel flavor and the cream cheese. I brought this to the attention of management and customer service representatives. Not only would they not offer me another bagel option, but they basically shrugged it away like they got my money and they didn’t care. I gave them multiple chances to offer a way to help. The customer service lady just said sorry and walked away. Under no circumstances is this acceptable. I barely ate any of the bagel before I brought it to the attention. Because they refused to give me another one. I threw it out and I left. As I walked back to leave, I saw the managers laughing together and pointing at me. They clearly don’t have any care for customers or customer service. I would not recommend this bagel...
