Yorky’s — Restaurant in Villa Park

This was my first time dining at Yorkies since it opened. I am pretty sure all the staff members were trained properly, so why would a well train young girl at the register who took my order offer me a Large Fries when there are one Size only Fries? It doesn't make any sense. I don't like being over charged for the same size Fries, & she don't even apologize for her mistakes. There was another employee I've never that made me very uncomfortable there when I was eating in the dinner area near the trash container. The young girl collected empty plates from tables and stacking them up on the trash container in front of me, she took out her pink cellphone & she was standing next to the trash container, facing me with her phone in her hand. How do I know if she's attempting to take snapshot of my face with her phone in her hand facing me?! I am very uncomfortable with this! I was covering my face the whole time she had her pink phone in her hands. She never even took my empty plate that was sitting in front of the whole time, & in her plain view! I had to wait till she put her phone away before I uncover my face, so I discard the plate and leave... This place makes me very uncomfortable to eat here, & I would never return.... If my picture was taken or published by any of your staff, there could be...

I had a pretty bad experience with takeout. I called ahead of time and was told that my food would be ready in 10 minutes. Very basic order: 2 Gyros dinners and 1 kid's chicken tender meal.

I show up about 20 minutes later and it took a few minutes for them to get the food to me. I was responsible for filling up my to go drinks so I did that, took my food, and left.

I get home and notice they completely botched the order. They forgot both our side salads with the gyros dinners. The included salad is the whole point of ordering a dinner instead of the special because the special doesn't come with a salad and it costs less.

For the food we did get, it was not stellar. The gyro meat was sad looking and not crisped at all. The small amount of fries with a "dinner" meal was disappointing.

The one silver lining was that they also messed up the kid's chicken tender order and gave us a normal order of tenders... at least i think so. We received 5 tenders on an $8 kid's order and more fries than what came with our dinners plus a normal sized drink.

I want to note that the receipt correctly reflected what I wanted but whoever prepared the food got the entire order wrong. It's quite impressive, I don't think I've had a fast food takeout order botched...

We always go to the York Road location. This is beautifully decorated, and seats are most comfortable. The food was solid and the same as the other location. Sometimes different locations don't have the same consistency, so I was happy to see that! I had the Chicken Fajitas, and my husband had the broasted chicken. I loved mine as usual. I tried my husband's, and I have to say we didn't love it. It seemed like the outside was sitting too long, and it just didn't have the flavor of our normal broasted check spot. Unfortunately, the main complaint I have may not seem a big deal to most people but itnis to me. They don't have seltzer/soda.water as the other location does. I'm hypoglycemic, and I don't drink pop, only seltzer water. This was a disappointment because I expected it since the other location has it. Also, a crazy thing I noticed is that in the bathroom, the handicapped toilet is very low. In the regular bathroom was the raised toilet. They installed the toliets opposite. So if they dont have seltzer here, we probably won't be back again. That is a deciding...
