I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. My husband and I came to watch the band which was very good. I think that was the only good thing about this place. When we arrived the original wait time was 20 minutes for a table so my husband and I sat at the bar until a table was ready. Two tables left while we were waiting and nobody bothered to seat us. I then proceeded to ask the young girl that was hosting which was very friendly if we could sit at the table in front of the band which was not being used. The young lady asked the manager and he said yes. We immediately notice that the restaurant seems very chaotic and unorganized. The staff is running all over the place and the manager is everywhere. It was not an enjoyable atmosphere. So after we place our order the manager comes up to us and asks if he could use the table we are sitting at and move us somewhere else so they could accommodate a party that just walked in. So we move to another table. Now we have a new waitress. The new waitress comes up and the young host asks her are you going to be helping them now she responded very rudely saying I don’t know what’s going on I just came over here... so our experience with her the rest of the night was VERY unpleasant to say the least. Secondly when the food finally came my husband had already told the previous waitress before they moved us what he wanted with his dinner. It was not brought out with his dinner and he told the new waitress that he asked the other one if he could have ranch with his baked potato, she then says well if you want something you need to tell me not her (okay that’s rude!) my husband states his food was fine. Mine not so much, the pasta I ordered tasted like it was reheated in a microwave the noodles were so dry and bland- chicken Alfredo should be creamy and well flavored- the whole meal was not good at all. My husband informed the waitress my meal was not good and she responded to that by saying- well what’s wrong with it? Not “oh I’m sorry let me see what I can do” or anything of that nature. There was zero customer service. She states that she was supposed to be off the clock 10 minutes ago but because of this other table she can’t leave, she keeps asking us if we are going to order anything else over and over again while we are trying to enjoy our evening and listen to the live music. She becomes increasingly irritated that we won’t leave and continues to walk by our table huffing and puffing and checking her watch so we see her. Then she comes over and starts sweeping the floor beside us insinuating that she wants us to leave I’m assuming. This restaurant needs better staff that understand customer service. We will never return to this restaurant. Save your money and go...
Read moreIn short: Brothers Bar & Steakhouse looks unassuming from the outside. Inside, it's not real fancy, but it's nice, comfortable and quite friendly. The food was uniquely flavored and definitely worthwhile. We had fantastic sevice! We drove 38 minutes to eat here and we'll do it again! I think they might do live music/karaoke too?
Details: Food A variety of steaks offered at market price. Steaks are cooked over a real open wood-fire grille, giving them a unique "kissed by smoke" flavor, way cool. The portions are generous. The quality of the food for its price makes it an excellent value. Not a huge menu, but the variety is more than adequate, with a good selection of sides.
Food we ate: Appetizer, southwestern egg rolls. Not true eggroll wrapper, but I thought they were super tasty! Will order again! Entrees, the big ribeye. The steak was larger (in area) than I expected. Appears hand cut, was not quite uniform in thickness, but despite this was cooked very nicely. The smoke from the Woodfire grille lends a unique flavor, but I thought the steak could use more more seasoning. They say their ribeyes are prime, and the steak was indeed tender. Honestly, it tasted similar to Rathbuns, but at a fraction of the price. A thicker, more consitent cut, peripheral trimming, and some more seasoning and this steak would be "untouchable." Don't get me wrong, I'll be back! The baked potatoes were nice size! The French fries perfect doneness/crispness. The kids had filet bites (the trimmings of the tenderloin) and wow, those were amazing! Will definitely try a filet in the future. My wife had baby back ribs, a thick meaty portion and she liked them, but I cook a lot of ribs myself, so...they're pretty decent. The side salads were also pretty good, on par with most places. Service. I normally don't comment about service, but ALL of our service was exceptional, beginning with the host. Then, Josh (our server) was on point, prompt, excellent attitude, very polite, not overbearing. The people that helped bring/remove plates were super cool, and the guy that cooked the steaks also stopped by to ask how the food was. These people truly care about your dining experience and they value your feedback. We will absolutely be back to try more dishes.

Read moreMy wife and I visited Brothers for Father's Day. We arrived late in the evening, about 8:50pm. We were immediately greeted at the hostess station by one of the brothers. We were seated and spoke with the owner for several minutes about how we just moved to town prior to Covid-19. He made us feel welcome and made sure to tell us that if we had any issues with service or our food to make sure that we let him know.
As soon as he stepped away, one of the waitresses took our drink order. Our drinks were brought by a second waitress, who ended up being our server for the remainder of the evening. We decided to start off with an order of their Fire Corn... Let me tell you, this is easily one of the best appetizers I've ever had!! Buttery, smokey, sweet, wood fire-grilled corn drizzled with a Chipolte mayo-type sauce, sprinkled with real bacon bits and scallions... It was fantastic!!! For entrees, my wife ordered the chicken tenders with fries, and I had a 16-oz. Ribeye with cheese grits and broccoli. We also ordered a basket of garlic knots. However, they were out, since it was so late in the evening. Shortly thereafter, we received our food, and everything looked wonderful!!! My wife's chicken tenders were HUGE, and she had what looked like a pound of fries!!! My steak was also HUGE, and it was cooked perfectly medium-rare!!! It also had a wonderful, smokey flavor from the wood-fired grill. After finishing with our entrees, the server asked what type of cheesecake we would like, since the Father's Day discount included free cheesecake. We chose regular, New York-style cheesecake. However, she returned to let us know that they were also out of cheesecake. She offered us any other dessert on the menu in lieu of the cheesecake, though. I had already mentioned to my wife that I would actually prefer banana pudding, so that's what we had. It was just as good as everything else. Despite being out of a couple of items, our visit was great!!! The food was fantastic, and the staff was polite, attentive, and on top of everything. It was a great night out, and we will...
