El Ranchito Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Villa Rica

Food is great but service is horrible! I came in after work today to place a togo order. I was instructed to sit at the bar to place my order which was fine. After sitting at the bar for about 15 minutes the waitress finally came to take my order. I sat an additional 45 minutes waiting on my three tacos, rice, queso dip, and enchiladas. The waitress disappeared and didn't communicate with me so I had no idea what was going on with my order. I requested to speak with a manager from another waiter. The manager came and I explained to him the situation. He went to the back and disappeared. (I presume to the kitchen) The waitress finally returned with my food and said thanks and walked away. Not once did she acknowledge the fact that I had to wait almost an hour for a to go order. So I get home and realize that my queso dip order is wrong. I called back to speak with the manager and he basically told me that it was what was ordered. At this point I'm extremely upset because 1. My having to wait has still not been acknowledeged, 2. The manager acted as if I was in the wrong, 3. Not one individual in the restaurant took ownership of thr horrible service. There were THREE tables that came in AFTER me and had nearly completed their meals before I received mine. The manager and the wait staff were horrible and I will not go back. The manager did offer to remake my food order...which was NEVER my issue. Poor management and horrid wait staff! Save your time and money and go elsewhere.

To the "owner": You all are still failing to recognize the real issue! Nobody communicated to me what was going on and why there were delays! I wouldn't have been upset had ONE person said there will be delays based on customizations etc. You are basically blaming me for your poor service! My fiance came back to handle the exchange for the queso dip because I was so upset and didnt want to cause a scene in your establishment. Your manager left to run an "errand" because he didnt want to have to deal with the issue. You offer poor service and still refuse to acknowledge that. Hours stated they were open until 10pm on a Saturday so drove all the way there and walked in the door at 930pm, told the hostess i wanted to place a single to go order and she instructed me to go the back counter to place the order, meanwhile several other tables full of people were just getting food and another table with about 6 people were still looking at menus and havent ordered yet, i pickup a togo menu and as iam looking a server walks over and tells me they are closed and will not let me order, so i informed him it was just a single togo order for just myself and he still would not let me order, so i go outside and call up there and asked the hours and the same guy answered the phone and i asked what time they closed and he said they were already closed but i could place a togo order, seems sketch that youll take over the phone order all of a sudden but someone walks into your restraunt in person and you will not serve them, shady business, ive been going here for years but will no longer ever spend a dime at this restraunt! Go about 1 mile up the road to Casa Sol Mexican Restaurant, better people there that take care of their customers, which i instead went to after the horrible experience at this...

Wouldn’t give any stars at all if I could. Worst service in my life. I wouldn’t go back if someone paid me. I walk in to pick up order just left to stand at front. Finally a female walks up and utterly looks pi**ed at the world. Absolutely no greet. Not a hello not a nothing. Stands there so I say I’m here to pick up gave name. She just walks off said nothing. I’m on the phone and after 12 mins said I guess I’m just going to leave to the person on the phone. She pops up says go ahead and walks off again. Then comes back with the food finally and informs me she doesn’t get paid for this. So I guess I missed the memo of free food and guess the restaurant doesn’t pay her to work. 15 mins after order was said to be ready I finally received with utter attitude.
