Literally can’t recommend a place less. The only reason I even went was because I wanted breakfast food and it was outside of breakfast hours at other restaurants. I never even leave reviews for places but this visit was just unnecessarily bad.
I placed a mobile order today and when we got there at like 2:45 the cashier at the window told us they were out of banana bread. No biggie, but she offered me 2 donuts as a replacement. I politely asked her if I could replace the banana bread with anything different because I have extremely sensitive teeth so I can’t even get through half a donut without my teeth aching. She got an attitude and acted like it was a huge inconvenience just to check. She came back and told me she could replace it with a coffee muffin, and even though I really didn’t want that I just went ahead and accepted because she was acting so aggravated by it. I still had bagel minis anyways so at least I could eat those even if i didn’t like the muffin.
Surprise: the muffin sucked. I tried my drink next, also terrible. You’d think for $5+ per drink you’d get something once in a while that doesn’t taste like dirt. A latte is mostly milk, I don’t understand how it’s that hard to make it taste mildly decent. Whatever, moved on to the bagel minis. They were cold to the touch so I already knew they’d be terrible when I grabbed them. They weren’t even remotely toasted on the outside, and the cream cheese in the center was barely thawed, they weren’t even close to being hot like they’re supposed to be. Yet another waste of money and at this point every single thing I ordered for myself ended up being awful and a waste of money.
My boyfriend’s food and tea were alright. Just alright, not worth the $5 for a croissant just for it to be mid. Literally wasted $20 of my money just to not even get anything to eat because it was all terrible and/or not even cooked. I have some degree of patience and sympathy for fast food workers but the store was literally dead, not busy at all, we were not rude or impolite whatsoever to them, and i worked fast food myself for years and i never treated people rudely just because they came to my place of work. it isn’t hard to have basic respect toward people and the money they’re spending when they aren’t disrespecting you at all. it’s not my fault that they were out of what i ordered, god forbid i just ask if there’s any other alternatives to what i had gotten because i literally don’t like and can’t eat what i was offered as a replacement.
you can’t serve shitty undercooked food and terrible drinks AND have an attitude for no reason toward people who just wanted to grab a bite to eat. if the customer service is gonna suck they could at least make up for it by not sending out garbage food and drinks. there’s not a single redeeming quality about the place....
Read more"I was appalled that a question I asked of my server, Mallory, to which she asked Janiah (?) was answered by Janiah as "that's a stupid question!" I found the response disrespectful to a conscious consumer who did not expect, nor deserve a response such as the one indirectly received but spoken within earshot and in the presence of the conscious consumer. I would state that if Janiah is representative of your leadership, which she told me she was, she requires more training! It is my opinion, as well as appearing to me, that she is a bully amongst the crew. The other crew members recognized that her response and demeanor was not the standard in how a consumer should be accommodated. In so of that observation, Journey was very accommodating and apologetic for Janiah's behavior as well as Mallory. Those persons, or any others of the crew except Janiah, should be representative of your leadership. I've never encountered such disregard and disgusting behavior during a visit at this location until today. I've always encountered a pleasant experiences, excellent service, and tremendous levels of professionalism, and standard as early as 5 AM in the morning when I would visit this location until today. I was truly surprised and disappointed with this crew member amongst the good consumer service I've received at this location. "One bad apple can spoil the integrity of a bushel." Such a shame. I also want to state, that I was NOT that customer that was looking to give anyone of your crew members a hard time, nor did I deserve the response that Janiah gave to Mallory who was only trying to provide great customer service. It is my opinion that Janiah should not put the rest of her crew in the position of having to accommodate her rude behavior and nasty attitude whether it be crew member to crew member in front of, and within earshot of a consumer because that's what Janiah kept stating, "she wasn't talking to me!" but the way she was talking to Mallory was very unprofessional and uncomfortable to me for Mallory. That's why I feel I observed and stated Janiah as being the bully of the crew. Janiah was truly unbecoming of a leader of her crew. By the way, I'm hoping this is her name as when I asked her face to face what her name was, she rolled her eyes, said she wasn't talking to me, and just wanted to go home. She did not tell me her name; I kept asking the others and FINALLY got it. It is my opinion that everyone was uncomfortable in not wanting to tell me her name! That's ridiculous! Janiah's behavior was absolutely absurd. I asked for the manager, and was told Jill Floyd, but was told she had gone home. Submittal of this review is my recourse of record to voice my experience during my visit today, and I thank you...
Read moreI went inside to order. Went to the self checkout machine, which was my 1st time using it there. Wasn't sure how to scan my qr code for points. So I asked the employee who was right there was I able to scan my qr code for points on the self checkout machine that was located at the front counter. She rolled her eyes and began to huff and puff & stated I'll ring you up with a completed attitude. I told her I still needed to know for future Purchases. She then started to roll her eyes, huff/puff, and stood there saying nothing. So I told her to get me another employee to help me. She proceeded to ignore me and started stacking cups. I had to get another employee working drive thru to get the manager. The manager answered my question, took my order, made my drink, took my complaint, and asked me which employee. When I told the manager, she gave me the look like she figured it was her. If I were a manager or owner, I would not want an employee working if something so simple triggered her to get an attitude. Luckily, I wasn't having a bad day because that kind of bad service could have ended in several different ways. Somebody with a trashy attitude like that shouldn't be employed there. If your attitude trashy/bad then the drinks/food will be too. Worse experience at this location. The rude employee was a young Caucasian girl who wears dark frame glasses(similar to Harry Potter) with dark hair, and she wore in a ponytail. Completed a survey online and awaiting to be contacted...
