Waffle House — Restaurant in Villa Rica

I spent 52 minutes total waiting for my order to be taken at the 'To-Go' spot in front of the register while the servers ran around taking everyone else's orders. The only reason I finally got my order taken was because a couple that finished eating at a table was ready to pay their bill and I was in the way. After I ordered, the server told me that she would take my payment AFTER she rang the bill for the couple behind me. I sat down and waited... and waited... until she finally called me back over to the register and rang my food. Then I had to sit back down and wait... and wait some more and wait even longer until I got up and asked the sever how much longer would I have to wait because I was going to cancel my order and go elsewhere. She assured me that my order would be plated soon. I waited 5 more minutes and she finally had my order ready to go. She asked if I needed any condiments and I flat out told her no. I didn't want to spend another second in that place. The cook was the worst of this mess. He took his sweet time making my order and STILL didn't get it right! I was already feeling some time of way because I was the only black person in there and I was the last to get any service. I'm too done with this WH. If my kid wants WH that bad, I'll gladly drive to Douglasville and get the timely...

Pay is decent, but be ready for your coworkwer's to gossip, slander, and spread rumors about you. Awful work environment. Literally work anywhere else, it's not worth selling your self respect to a job. To elaborate; No one is ever written up, severs fight with cooks and customers, management let's coworker's call each other racial slurs. Watched a 40 something year old woman punch a 17 year old. Higher ups wanted to KEEP the 40 year old working there after the incident. This store has a rockstar trained cook SHUTTING DOWN the store for 30 mins, because he can't stand to stay after to finish his work ( which he is paid greatly for ). If you didn't know, Waffle House never closes, except for stage 4 weather conditions. In fact; it use to be waffle house tradition to put the keys to the front door in the concrete after they finish laying out the pavement. All the rumors and slander done to me, brought me to a horrible dark place in my life. Thank God I left. No amount of money is EVER worth your self love and respect. Remember this always. This is the worst state I have ever seen waffle house in, and I've worked in 5 separate stores over the years. Save yourself from future emotional abuse and find work...

The old man Jeffro with no teeth and white shirt (greeter) would not seat me just now. He took my name as I came in., did offer the bar., and I kindly told him., I didn't want the bar seating.(Covid) and too close sitting to strangers. There was one couple in front of me. I came in by myself and he was taking all the people that came in way after me. Like two other groups. I asked why is he seating people before me., and he points to a sign showing on the wall near the bathroom., saying "seats reserved for two people or more" smh!!! I am spending money here as they wanted to seat me at the long table sitting on top of someone else. No thank you! Poor poor policy! I have never experience this at this Waffle House or ANY Waffle House coming by myself. Shame on you Waffle House! I am reporting him to corporate! And this is AFTER I waited too! I drove 15 minutes to Douglasville and sat at the smaller booth along the window. They said here in Douglasville, they have never heard of such policy! (The picture is Douglasville) where I got great service. Villa Rica Waffle House... YOU WILL BE REPORTED...
