Typically we have had exceptional service and food from this store and last night, November 9th shouldn't have been any different. Ordered two Medium Pizza's and a Calzone at approximately 6:15pm and by 7:00pm our food had not arrived even with a expected delivery of 6:40-6:50pm. I waited until 7:15pm and called the store and waited on hold for over 5 minutes and then spoke with Nicole who seemed very inconvenienced by my call. She gruffly stated that our driver should be there any minute and when I said Thank You she hung up. I though ok, its Saturday night and they are probably swamped so I let it go. By 7:45pm the driver still had not shown up and we were getting hungry so I called back and again was put only hold, but only for a minute this time and was graced with Nicole again. When I asked where our order was, she again said that our order was on the way. I simply lost my cool at that point and stated that it does not take an hour and a half to make and deliver our order and to cancel our order. She hung up the phone, no apology, no offer to make this mess right, nothing.
I'm highly disappointed in how this went since we love Marco's food and have never had an issue before. I will not be ordering again from this location. And as far as filing out a review on some corporate website, I'll pass. If the owner really wants to make things right our order was #559 on November 9th, 2019. Look it up and tell me why it took 1.5 hours to get a couple of pizzas and a calzone less...
Read moreI like Marco's pizza. Tonight I decided to go pickup instead of having delivered to the hotel. The website asked if I wanted curbside. I said no. When I got there they were not allowing people to go inside and pay. This annoyed me! So I called the number on the sign and after what seemed like an eternity of telling me what they were not doing over the phone be cause of Covid a delivery guy saw me standing there and came out and asked name on pizza order. He got a big tip for that.
When I got pizza I could smell the faint smell of mozzarella that is fixing to have a mold bloom. I said nothing.... because I am over sensitive about it and it will not hurt you I thought. The wife and I ended up having 2 days of diarrhea from these pizzas.
I ordered the 2 pizzas thin crust, lite sauce, pie cut, and double baked. When I got to hotel, I had 2 thin crust, square cut, normal sauce, and normal bake pizzas. To make sure I had ordered it as I wished, I looked on the reciept attached the ordered pizza and it was as I wished. I often wonder if people actually read the requested order. My local store this order has not been an issue. The last 3 times I have ordered Marco's while traveling in 2 different states they have not been able to follow the instructions...
Read morePlaced order online; however, it went to Temple store. So I headed to Temple store - while on the way the Villa Rica store had called Temple store to cancel my order! What?, really? I show up at Temple store not knowing this and the manager "Will Guy" is what his name tag said told me about the Villa Rica store calling to cancel the order, what he didn't say was that the Villa Rica store called back a second time when I left to reorder my original order which he denies. He stated when I became frustrated that I was acting as I was "entitled". I called the Villa Rica store to ask for an area manager to call me-no call all weekend. I called Villa Rica store again Monday and stated I haven't received the call, another person took my info and said they would pass it on. We'll several hours later no call! Basically I gather that Marco's could care less how their "managers" treat paying customers. Poorly trained staff, I totally recommend other pizza makers that will appreciate...
