Went through drive thru a month ago at 10pm with no cars and got pulled up waiting for fresh fries. My order was under $5 and they had me waiting by the trash can for over 40 mins. Tried to go in but doors were locked, tried to get their attention through the window and still nothing. Cars wrapped around the building at this point. Car after car coming and going while I'm still waiting on 1 fry. Ended up having to pull back around the drive thru just to get their attention. Had words with Amber and Stephan that night. Not only did I have to wait 40 min for my $5 order, but it was also wrong. 2 double cheeseburgers PLAIN and a large fry. Reached out to corporate who decided to do nothing. They said it was up to the franchise owner and they would be in contact and they never did. Never got a refund either. My youngest son wanted McDonald's today 10/7/23 and I ordered via app. Again no cars in drive thru pulled straight to the window where they tried to pull me up again. I declined to pull up because of my past experience and they got aggravated. Amber happened to be there again today and proceeded to tell me that I HAVE to pull up. I'm pretty sure it's not against the law to wait for your food at the window. I put my car in park and refused to move. She asked me why did I come back to McDonald's if I had a problem? Umm because it's McDonald's and I can, but I guess she's never had a problem with a restaurant before and then ate there again. So, apparently if you have ever had a problem with McDonald's, Amber says you're not allowed to eat there again. I also went for breakfast one morning and ordered the jalapeno cheesy biscuits they had at the time and received McMuffins. Of course they were touched and handled by me and my husband and when my husband took the food back in they had the worst attitude and they also took the McMuffins back and gave them to another customer in drive thru. Beware of this location and do yourself a favor and go to the Mirror...
Read moreI don't usually do this but I'm writing this review because of how insulted I was tonight. I have been going to the Villa Rica McDonalds for as long as I've been in Georgia (about 6 years) and while sometimes they mess up, like any normal fast food restaurant, they are always polite and ready to fix it. I have never had a problem with them before. Until tonight. I ordered $12 worth of food only to get to the window and realize I had forgotten my debit card at home and had $4 on me. Ok, no big deal, right? You would think that the manager would say, "hey, mistakes happen." I asked the gentleman who was checking me out to please take off some of the food. I apologized profusely and he was very nice but I could see he was nervous to go get the manager. As I'm sitting there already embarrassed, the manager Jealousy (yes folks, her name was Jealousy) comes storming up while say "BUT WHY?!" Then to my absolute horror (since I have worked in the restaurant industry for the last 10 years) she points at me and says to the cashier with utter distain "This her" and points in my direction. Then she presses a few buttons which took her all 15 seconds and say "$4.03" then walks away. I have never seen that kind of behavior the entire time I've been going to the location. I am just beyond insulted and frustrated. How does someone like that make it into a management position? If she did that to me, I can guarantee she's done it to other people because she seem pretty comfortable doing it. Shame on you, McDonald's for condoning this kind of behavior. And shame on you "Jealousy" for treating people that way. If you don't like your job, quit. Don't take it out on paying customer because at the end of the day, don't you forget, we pay for the salary that you most certainly...
Read moreThis was by far my worse experience at a McDonalds. The manager (Cindy I think, older woman) was disturbingly rude. Not just to us. The customer in front of us said he had been waiting for 35 minutes. He got his order and went to the car, came back with one wrong drink, and was missing an order of fries. Cindy told him to bring the bag back in because she packed that bag and it was all there. WTH? His family was already eating so when he came back in because they corrected drink was still wrong. Apparently they had sweet tea in the unsweetened urn. He asked another employee and she gave him the fries. The manager scolded her loudly across the lobby telling her to ask her next time, “he already got his fries.” He clearly wasn’t trying to steal, he wanted his food and to finally leave. I unfortunately did a Mobil order and pay, so I could not see the 83 heath score. After waiting 20 minutes I asked to get a refund if the order was not ready. The manager snapped at me that “It is right here.” She bagged my food that was cold from sitting, “HERE!” and dropped it on the counter with a Terrible GTH look at me. Several employees standing around like they had nothing to do. One young man with the safety vest was obviously annoyed anytime someone asked him to do anything, including a customer asking for their cup. Even with extra employees they refused to take orders at the register and told everyone to use the kiosk. Two customers stormed out loudly and angry in the 20 minutes we were waiting. This was around 2:00pm on a Sunday and they were not...
