Satisfied customers too busy eating to post good reviews. I have also worked here for about 5 years on and off. I am not currently working there, and my opinions are mine alone and not those of the company, the management, or any other employees. The management has switched hands several times in that period, and I can honestly say that it is in the best condition it has ever been in. However, the management in the past has not been the best, and that is a shame. So if you have not been there in a few years, your experiences may be outdated. There are a few things to keep in mind when ordering from Rosatis: It is a carryout and delivery restaurant. They offer several tables for the convenience of our customers, mostly for lunchtime slices, but do not expect full restaurant service. However, you can expect friendly and courteous service (and if you get anything less, speak up right away!) The dough is made fresh daily, the pizza ingredients are fresh and nothing besides the pepperoni and canadian bacon comes pre-cooked, pre-sliced, or pre-seasoned. This is not pizza hut or dominos (and thank god for that!) and quality food takes time to prepare. So you will wait a little longer than if you go across the street, but it will be worth it. Though they are a independently owned franchise, they are still small, and do not have the purchasing power of PH. So it costs them a little more for our fresh ingredients. As a result, the food costs more. They could never afford to offer a $10 anything pizza. But again, you get what you pay for. Also, some menus may have outdated prices on them. However they will explain any charges you incur. There are no shady dealings. They have a large delivery area. As far north as Silver Spring in Sussex, as far south as 94, as far east as Barker Rd and as far west as 83. It is a mixed bag of nuts. On one hand, there are many people on the fringe that absolutely love the convenience of delivery. On the other hand, it does increase the time it takes to get the food there overall. However every driver is mindful of how long a customer has been waiting and what temperature the food will be when it gets there. I was a driver, and I can tell you, we are constantly thinking about the customers experience because it effects our bottom line. Mistakes happen. They have learned from mistakes in the past and continue to learn. If you have had a mixed up order, my sincere apologies. But they will work to correct the mistake if it is...
Read moreThis place has food that is mediocre at best. Anyone saying the food is good really needs to get out of the suburbs and experience life. That being said, back to the review...
Mediocre at best food and exorbitant delivery times. What's worse is that, quite literally, they get our order wrong 1 out of 3 times. Literally.
Either the order is wrong or, what seems to be most common, something has been forgotten. We've ordered and twice they have forgotten the chicken tenders, twice the soda, numerous times the bread, and one time a complete entreé. They never forget to charge, though. They're 100% there. As far as orders being wrong, imagine ordering a sausage, pepperoni, and mushroom pizza, but getting a ham and onion pizza. Yes, that happened. Then imagine just eating the pizza because you don't want to call and deal with, "Well, what do you want to do?" Which is a segue to the next paragraph.
Everyone that answers the phone seems very young. High school children, I'd guess. That may have to do with the lack of customer service and quality assurance. I don't wish to assume like that because a lot of people that age are with it, but the feeling I get when I call is that of a young teen, working to have fun money, that really doesn't care about the service given.
In example, just yesterday, the delivery driver delivered the wrong order. We called the store (I refuse to call this place a "restaurant") to let them know. They reached the driver and he returned 10 minutes later (after we had already waited 75 minutes for our little order) with our order. Apparently, he delivered his last stop to us. Okay. Oops! Everyone makes a mistake, right? I get our bag to the kitchen and, guess what? Yep. WE WERE MISSING FOOD. Specifically, chicken tenders, which was our 8 year old daughter's dinner. We called again and, "What do you want us to do?" Seriously? Are you that stupid? You deliver it AND remove the charge. It's called CUSTOMER SERVICE!
This all speaks volumes of management and, especially, ownership. As many times as they have gotten things wrong, I can't be the only customer who finds this place virtually worthless. Why do we continue to order? After all, just ditching this maybe-as-high-in-quality-as-McDonald's fare is an obvious answer. Because it's one of few places that deliver to Sussex that offers chicken tenders my child likes. It would be nice if ownership gave a damn and made, at the least, decent food for their...
Read moreI was in the area for training and saw this place while driving around looking for lunch. Thought I would give it a try since it wasn't a chain. Let me start by saying I cannot comment on the taste of the food, I never got any. It was around noon and there was nobody else in the place. I stood at the counter for 5 or 6 minutes, without a single person looking at the counter or coming up to the front. I know there were 2 people working in back because I could see one and hear the other. I know I could have spoken up but I feel I shouldn't have to try to get a business' attention to serve me food, especially at noon. I looked at their pizza warmer (same kind of spinning rack you see in gas stations) and there was 1 old slice of cheese, and a few slices of sausage which also looked old/cold. With the amount of hard, not melted cheese I saw on those I can believe the other reviews about having minimal sauce and lots of cheese. Wish I could have tried one, maybe that would have made up for the lack of service. But as it was, food quality appeared poor, and service was...
