Buffalo Wild Wings — Restaurant in Village of Pewaukee

I've tried so hard to give this Buffalo Wild Wings location the benefit of the doubt; but time and time again all I get is disappointment.

My wife and I ate at this location regularly up until about 6 months ago. The last 3 times we had ordered it for take out, we not only had a long wait for the food but each order had been wrong and/or missing one of the items we had ordered.

Since I've always been a fan of the food, I figured I'd give them another shot for lunch today since the Pewaukee location is close to where I work and I didn't have time to drive to the Brookfield location since I was taking a short lunch break.

I placed my order at 11:10, and was advised it would be ready at 11:30. I arrived right at 11:30, paid and was advised that my order would be up shortly. The hostess that cashed me out started seating people and a different employee started ringing out carry out orders. After 15 minutes (which was now 35 minutes after I placed an order for a snack sized boneless wings and fries) I got the hostess' attention since the cashier at the register never checked in with me and asked her to check on my order.

She came out a minute later and handed me my food; no apology for the wait or anything like that, which wasn't a biggie. My food was lukewarm upon delivery; you could tell it had been sitting on a counter for some time.

On top of a ridiculous wait, luke warm food, and lackluster customer service, I did not receive a my order of 7 boneless wings; and instead received 6. One of the 6 wings were small enough to where it was really more like 5.

Considering I'm one of the rare types that tip for my carry-out orders (as I know how it can be working in the food industry), I am that much more disappointed at the experience I've had yet again at this particular location. It's a shame considering I live so close by. I will not be visiting this location again. Do yourself a favor and go to the BW3's in Brookfield on Bluemound instead, where you'll actually get decent service and your food in a reasonable...

Even before our party of 13 walked into this restaurant, I remarked to my husband that I was hesitant to eat here because of the SLOW service we ALWAYS experience at bdubs, with the exception of the Janesville, WI location.

Then why did we go? Because the kids love the multiple TVs and the trivia games. So I put aside my reservations and decided to give this location a chance. What a colossal mistake!

As the previous reviewer, Dan, already pointed out, the service is atrocious. There were a total of 3 tables when we walked in. We waited over a half hour for our drinks to come and we only received them then because my husband went up to the bar to say something. The bartender started the order after he said something! What was she doing before then??? And after we finally received our drinks, we didn't have straws! So then we had another wait to get straws!! Ugh.

I told the waitress we needed to put our food order in before we got our drinks because my son needed to leave for work at 345. We placed our food order at 230, our order came at 340!! Insane.

While we were waiting for our food to come, we noted that tables remained dirty the entire time we were there. The employees stood around talking to each other and ignored the few customers who were in there. Right before we left, 2 hours later, the manager finally started to clean the tables. Pathetic. What are the employees for???

As my 84 year old mother said, "You can't complain about the service because there isn't any!" That pretty much sums it up!

This location was the final straw for me and bdubs, time to find a better place with service!

PLEASE don't waste your time...

This place was absolutely terrible. I sat down and it took 15 minutes to get a waitress to come and ask what I wanted. I was waiting for a friend and he came, and it took longer to get us a beer. It was not even busy.

We ordered wings and they came out looking like 3 day old heated up, dry, pasty wings They were also room temperature. The shift manager came over and said she is so sorry, but one of them she claimed she had never seen the sauce before so she didn't know what they should look like fresh. I've never seen shark meat before, but I can tell when something looks old and crusty. I could not believe it. So she took them back and we got some more that had less sauce, were hot, but whatever.

We finished our beers and the waitress didn't come back over for quite some time to fill us back up. We made observations around the place and it was a clusterfart. No employee looked like they were on the same page doing anything, we saw a guy come out with a trey of wings, look around, confused, and walked back in the kitchen. Girls just standing around on their cell phones, while they place wasn't busy at all.

We asked for the bill, and our waitress disappeared for 10 minutes. When she brought the bill back, she dropped it off and went off. We actually took the bill to the till to give it to her to run the card so we didn't have to sit for another 10 minutes waiting for her to pick it up, and another 10 to return with the bill.
