Let's be honest, when this place first opened it was the best place to eat in town. High quality food, great selection and variety, and the best part a good price. Now that the place has been opened a while, it's best to avoid and eat somewhere else. They no longer offer crab on the Sunday buffet. Most days when I go to eat, the buffet is bare at best, with a lot of choices ( often the ones I want) being empty. You can tell they have been empty for a while because the pan is dry and crusty from the heat lamps. The sushi is often dry, crusty, and uneatable. More times than often, the food that is on the buffet is old and greasy. This place used to be my favorite place to eat, but now I tend to avoid if possible. I have eaten both take out and buffet as well as buffet to go several times over the past few months and I have to admit all my experiences are the same. This place has gone so far down hill that I either prefer Dragon or to just simply go out of town. It's so sad to see a once great establishment become what it has become. I hope that one day it will return...
Read moreI would go lower because of my last few visits but overall the food is good. They should really fire the hibachi grill cook. Rubbing your nose then putting on dirty gloves and then washing your hands with those gloves on does not mean your hands are clean!! Major health code violation
Update: it's been 2 years and I've gone in from time to time. Food is hit or miss. The person at the hibachi grill really should be fired. The food on the buffet was old so I went to try the hibachi and the guy acted like I was inconveniencing him he was sitting down on his phone. I set the plate on the window ledge then realized he couldn't reach it so went to hand it to him and he yanked it out of my hand giving me a dirty look so I walked out. It was the same guy that during covid though putting on dirty gloves then washing the gloves was ok. Sadly the one good Chinese place in Vincennes closed down. Now if I want good Chinese I'll have to go to Great Wall in Washington never been disappointed in the quality of food there even if I come in right...
Read moreMy family ate here on Mother's Day. They were offering crab legs. The place was super busy! We had to wait for an available table, but it was not a really long wait. It was fairly crowded but the staff was keeping up with refilling the buffet pretty quickly, except the crab legs, which could be expected. There is a wide selection of items to choose from. Food I had was good except for the prawns! They were battered and deep fried, but the shells were left on!!! They were mushy with a nasty flavor! The worst part was that you had to peel off the breading and shells to even taste them! Why go to the trouble to bread them when you can't eat the shell. The crab legs were great when we finally got some, but there were no seafood forks or shell crackers anywhere. We finally asked a waitress. She brought out 1 cracker (there were 7 of us) saying that was all she could find. There were no seafood forks at all. I think the management was overwhelmed by the number of people and not prepared with the right tools for...
