I went in to the store looking for a screen protector for my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+. I have always trusted the durability of a tempered glass screen protector. The sales rep told me that they don't make screen protectors for the Note 10+ because they apparently interfere with the fingerprint scanner in the screen. According to her my ONLY option was this Puregear Liquid Glass. This stuff is $50! She said that they have a lifetime replacement and it's clearly splashed all over the products box. Well since it was my ONLY option, I went for it. She wiped this "liquid" all over my screen and had me wait 10 minutes to let it dry. I saw NO CHANGE. For all I know she simply wiped water all over my screen. I was extremely sceptical at that point, but she explained that it was "chemically changing the composition of my phone's screen to make it tougher." It did NOT. I should have looked into it, as they DO make screen protectors for the Note 10+, as I learned from a trip to Best Buy. She could have referred me there when I told her I really wanted a screen protector and was very hesitant about buying this "liquid glass." She clearly lied to me just to make a sale and probably some commission for the day. Now she promised that this was scratch resistant, fingerprint resistant, etc and that couldn't be further from the truth. As I am now discovering, this product is a complete scam! I had light scratches in the screen after only 3 days! This phone has never been dropped and has been well taken care of because it's a $1200 phone. My suspicions were correct...it DOES NOT protect. The Puregear company also DOES NOT honor their "PurePledge." I have called Puregear customer service no answer (all agents busy assisting other customers), left voicemails and no call backs, sent emails...no replies. Tried going through their site to get a replacement and they charged my card $9.95 via PayPal (have the Paypal receipt) for shipping and never sent out the replacement. So overall I"m down $60 something dollars and scratches on my actual screen. If you look on Amazon you will find horrible reviews of this product on there, Puregear has an F rating from the Better Business Bureau (I filed a complaint with them), and horrible reviews on other sites as well! DO NOT let these TCC employees (the store in Owensboro, KY had the same lie) lie to you as well and talk you into buying an overpriced, sham, product! FYI...Corporate Verizon stores DO carry screen protectors for the Note 10+. So TCC probably has some sort of exclusive contract with Puregear and that's why their selling this lie and ONLY selling this sham product. I have made corporate Verizon aware and they luckily ARE looking into this matter. I just want to make all the rest of you aware BEFORE you get into the mess that TCC and Puregear...
