Unsatisfactory Experience at KFC Due to Missing Item and Poor Customer Service
I am usually a fan of KFC’s quick service and tasty food, but my recent experience was deeply disappointing. I placed an online order for a 18:15PM pick up, it was 8 minutes late which I overlook until I arrived home with my order, I noticed that the fries were missing. Understanding that mistakes can happen, I called the store to have this rectified. Unfortunately, I was greeted by an employee named Amber, whose tone was not only rude but also condescending. She stated she was “extremely busy” and made it clear that she had no intention of helping me resolve the issue of the missing fries.
While i attempted to keep the conversation courteous to explain my issue, Amber's unprofessionalism prevailed, and i decided match her level of "customer service", Amber chose to hang up on me. This left me frustrated and without the food I had paid for. Upon calling back, another employee, Regina, answered the phone. Unlike Amber, Regina was helpful, providing me with the name of thr employee that originally answered the phone (Amber) and Angel, store manager and how to report the issue through the KFC app. She even apologized for excusing herself to attend to another customer’s order before continuing our conversation.
It’s clear that Amber’s approach to customer service is hostile and unprofessional. Her inability to provide any resolution, coupled with her decision to hang up on a customer, reflects poorly on KFC’s customer service standards. The experience with Amber suggests that there is a serious need for reevaluation of training and customer service protocols at this KFC location along with their interviewing process.

I recommend never getting any sort of drink from here because it's ALWAYS FLAT, but if you absolutely have to get one, TRY IT before you pull away. I once went through 5 different drink options in the drive thru because each one was so foul tasting I couldn't stomach it. And I had thought before, maybe I'm just the unlucky person who gets the end of the soda bag and it just hasn't been replaced yet since it's busy... I completely understand that. But when it's been YEARS that it's happening you start to think otherwise. And those machines make so much noise when the soda is low, someone could obviously hear it unless they just aren't getting any new shipments in and we've all been drinking old end of bag soda for years. So please, if you could invest in a better quality soda fountain that would make so many people happy, myself included. Or just make checking the soda levels in the morning a regular part of the job and have backups ready for when the lunch/dinner rush starts. But what do I know, I've never had to work here so I don't know what conditions and limitations they are dealing with either. Just a rant from a customer who wants to enjoy their drink with their food. Don't think this restaurant is sustainable either, just cut ties and make it a Taco Bell for Hart St. You can get everything KFC sells at practically every gas...

Over 50 years I've been eating KFC and the lady I asked if she would consider replacing them 2 pieces & showed her the inside she called me a liar & wanted to argue about it. Well that's not my forte so I let her watch me throw them 2 pieces in the trash. My wife started eating a 3 rd piece & center was not fully cooked, she took it up this time to get called a liar again. So we just threw it all in the trash & walked out.
