As any parent can relate, dining out with a young, cranky child can often be more stressful than enjoyable. Our recent trip to wings however, turned out to be a surprisingly pleasant experience—thanks to our exceptional server, Starr.
From the moment we walked in, my son was in one of his more "difficult" moods. He was tired, fidgety, and less than thrilled about being at the table instead of playing at home. While I tried to calm him down, I fully expected the evening to be a challenge. But then came Starr.
She greeted us with a warm, infectious smile that immediately lifted the mood. Despite my son's constant requests for juice, then water, then another refill of juice, Starr was patient and attentive. She didn't skip a beat and made sure to engage with him in a way that made him feel special—asking if he liked the crayons on the table and even chatting with him about his favorite foods.
Her demeanor was professional but caring, and it didn’t stop there. She made thoughtful suggestions on the menu and tailored her recommendations to our preferences. Starr made sure to bring everything we needed, often before we even realized we needed it, from extra napkins to some crayons for my son to focus on. When our food arrived, she checked in just enough to make sure everything was to our liking without hovering, which is a delicate balance in any restaurant.
Even though my son was less than cooperative and more focused on playing with his utensils than eating, Starr’s kindness and attention turned a potential dining disaster into a memorable evening. She even shared a little chuckle with us when my son finally calmed down and took a bite of his food.
As for the food, the dishes were as satisfying as expected, with flavors that were fresh and delightful. But it was Starr's service that truly made the night stand out. In a world where customer service can be hit or miss, Starr was a shining example of what great hospitality looks like—she transformed a chaotic family dinner into an experience I’m eager to repeat.

Read moreThe wings were nearly the worst I have ever had, ive been around the country and tried wings at many locations but wings ete highly disappointed me, we notified order would be ready in 20 minutes I didn’t think the wings would be cooking for that long, the wings were so over done they were too tough and chewy to eat, I’m not a dog that enjoys chewing on things, wings are meant to be tender moist and flavorful, these were none of those, we had ordered 6 sauces we only got three which is ironic as I had asked the waitress which took forever to come check on me by the counter, looked as uninterested in doing the job as one could get, I told her I was there for a pick up and noticed a bag sitting off by itself on its side by the door cooling off, cause cold wings are the new rage, I asked her if this was my order she said I think not sure should say on the bag, I then asked if all 6 sauces were in the bag and she rolled her eyes and said yeah they are in the bottom, which she was half right the wings had popped open and spilled into the bag and one of the three sauces was partially open leaking, and we were missing three sauces, 2 of the 3 sauces we had were pretty good but the third tasted as varnish smells, the wings were slightly better with sauce but even with the good sauces the wings were too horrible to enjoy, which sucks as we were excited to get a new wing restaurant in town as last two shut down years back, to be straight to the point your better off going to Walmart deli and ordering wings their, I won’t recommend nor will we be going back….just disappointing, staff was unfriendly, and not very good at their Job I do not enjoy giving bad reviews but I hope it helps them reflect and make necessary changes to improve both...
Read moreI have been there twice and had issues both times. Last night 3 of us went. It took 60 minutes to get our food. There were only about 6-8 tables with guests including us. Server told us about 5 minutes before the food came out that the grilled chicken was holding the order up. When the order came some of the toppings for the tacos were missing. One girl asked for extra sauce since her wings barely had any. She was charged for extra sauce! She voiced her concern and the server just told her well we have to charge. Manager finally came around just after this and we voiced our concerns to her. She never apologized. Just gave excuses. "I didn't know you needed sauce because there wasn't enough. She didn't tell me that. I could have taken it off the bill. " Then said their lead cook was out and the grilled chicken takes 12 minutes to cook. I can appreciate all of that, but 60 minutes for 3 dishes when the restaurant is not busy?! After an awkward silence she did say well I could write your name down for a free appetizer next time. We opted not to do that because none of us plan to go back. Food was good, but service and communication were not!
