Graeter's Ice Cream — Restaurant in Violet Township

Walked In to get my birthday Sunday. Drive through wasnt fairly busy but had some cars but The main issue was that with 5-6 maybe more workers (there seemed to be some in the back) no one said hello no one said we’d be right with you, most of the employees just stared at my husband and I as we stood there waiting for service. I noticed at least one walked back just to come back up front to fill her personal water bottle with water, some were making orders for drive through but a few were just standing there, my husband and I weren’t talking to each other we weren’t pondering what we wanted, he even said hello to an employee and she gave him a dirty look and walked away. There was one other couple at checkout and another that walked in behind my husband after we were waiting but the store wasn’t that busy. I ended up leaving after being ignored by the entire store. I don’t need special treatment because I was using my birthday rewards but a simple hey we’ll be right with you or even a greeting would’ve been nice instead of the poor attitude and straight Lack of acknowledgement...

Having just been thru the pickerington drive thru, I ordered a waffle cone with 1 scoop of salted carmel and 1 of toffee chocolate chip. I’d never had salted carmel before but mistakenly thought it might taste like or have carmel throughout it. Had neither, nor a salty taste either. I was disappointed as it was a kinda off white blah color. I love toffee and really knew better than to order this because, 2 different occasions before I’d had it and neither time was there ANY TOFFEE in it! Lots of chocolate chunks yes, but no TOFFEE! The 2 previous times I had told them at the window and did get a “sorry”. But it’s most generally high school kids serving you, who just really don’t care. A long time ago they had pralines and cream that was wonderful! But hey, Krogers’s is having a special digital coupon day this fri and sat with half gallons of their deluxe ice cream for $1.88@, limit of five. Do yourself a favor and get ice cream then. I've been to the one in Bexley, but not this one. It was different. This one has a drive thru and two entrances. Inside, they have tables and chairs you can enjoy the ice cream with friends and family. They also have benches outside. There is plenty of parking. I ordered the 2 scoops of salted caramel chip in a cup. They have cones you can choose from. It was ok for me. I should have had it without. My friend got the chocolate peanut butter. She said it was good. You can get different toppings. It was a little pricey to me, but I don't usually go eat ice cream at a shop. But it was nice to sit and talk with friends. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and eager to serve ice cream. They have lactose free pints but I didn't check to see if they serve that. I will...
