5 stars because I know how good this place can be. I'll share my most recent online order experience. I placed an online order using my rewards account, for two cold regular sized sandwiches and one hot. That was the entire order, nothing else. I placed the order at about 7:32pm and the app told me it would be ready for pickup at 7:50pm. I walked into the store at about 7:45pm, immediately after another customer had just walked in and up to the ordering part of the counter. The Jersey Mike's staff proceeded to take this customers new order which appeared to be for 4 regular sized sandwiches along with bags of chips. After finishing this customer's sandwiches, bagging them and asking if he was a member of the rewards club (they weren't) and if they wanted to join (they declined) and seeing them on their way, the staff proceeded to go back to making sandwiches. When I was able to catch the attention of a staff member (not easy) they informed me my sandwiches had just started being made. It was 8pm.
I requested a refund because I had somewhere to be, hence the benefit of scheduling an order ahead. But it's clear now that when you order online you actually get worse service and end up standing around waiting longer than if you just went in and ordered. And that standing around is while employees stare at you as if they're wondering why you're standing around inside a Jersey Mike's in the first place. I have to imagine they wonder because they certainly don't bother to ask you, the customer, why you're there. Y'know, something along the lines of "Did you have an order for pickup?" - that sort of thing. Crazy concept in 2023...
Read moreSo first off, I don't disagree that the hours need to be updated, but I think it's silly that people are giving 1* reviews especially the person saying you can just walk in. One would think a person would have sense to look inside the building they're entering to see through the glass what the situation is. I had asked at a different location how long it's expected to take, and hopefully there's only about a month remaining.
Now for what I actually have to say. This is the best Jersey Mikes I've eaten at (to be fair, out of 3 locations), and the subs from here are better than any other chain I've gotten to. Was sad to see that the company was bought out by someone else, so until it goes to crap, I'll continue going. I did notice the price increases shortly before renovation went into effect, which is unfortunate considering whomever was in charge of the price increases is entirely ignorant of the situation of income and wages and all that crap, but that's not really this particular venue's fault.
So my subs that I get here are really quite good, with nearly perfect consistency, only really changing when a new person is handling my order. The water is somehow also the best water I've had anywhere in the Pickerington area and idk how they do it. I really hope the renovations don't change this as it's weirdly something I actually look forward to. Read moreWe are always coming here lately we have had smaller problems that can be overlooked but last night we all got a whole sub I got the chicken Philly , hubby got the chipotle cheesesteak and my son got bacon ranch chicken cheesesteak we did online we ordered the rosemary bread (because it’s all about flavor) and none of us got what we ordered. No rosemary bread on any of them my chicken was dry no sauce (so dry it scratched my throat) hubbys the same his was no sauce and cooked dry , my son is also the same dry no sauce!!! This came to $48 for some sandwiches! I tried calling and calling this was irritating because we then went and spent $30 on pizza ! ! This is happening everywhere! We all are working all day don’t have time to cook so we get take out every day and all these places just don’t care anymore! I would have brought them back and got new ones if someone would have answered! I also tried calling today a few times no answer! This food is too expensive to have it messed up all the time and I wouldn’t leave a bad comment had someone answered the phone!
