Disappointing Experience at Freshmade

My husband and I were craving fresh, locally made deli sandwiches—not something from a commercial sub chain—so we decided to try Freshmade based on its high ratings. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t live up to the hype.

Upon entering, there was no greeting from the staff, which immediately set the tone. The display case wasn’t appealing, making it unclear if they even served fresh deli meats. The menu was only displayed on the wall and was somewhat confusing to navigate.

That day, they were advertising a brisket sandwich special, but they had already run out. We then asked for roast beef sandwiches, only to be told that different specials are available on different days. At this point, the lack of clear communication and customer service was frustrating. To top it off, instead of offering fresh sandwiches, they tried to sell us frozen meat—completely missing the mark on what we came for.

Disappointed, we left without making a purchase. Based on this experience, we wouldn’t return or recommend Freshmade to anyone looking for a true...

For the last few years I've been having family get together catered as I was tired of spending the whole party cooking and doing dishes, etc. And I would order from either, subway or jersey mikes or city bbq, until I discovered ricks ... I have to say, the quality of the food and the prices can't be beat ... the name is 100 percent accurate, it is fresh! I was paying more for subway platters and they aren't even half as good of quality as ricks, not to mention they have a MUCH larger selection than any of the places I've ordered from before ... now I am using them for all of our get togethers.. everyone just raves about the food and how delicious it is and how beautiful the presentation of it is and I love that I don't have to cook, set up or clean a bunch of dishes ..everybody wins! Ok so the meatball sub I had yesterday from Rick's Homeade was the best I had in a long time, so I had to go back and try another sub. I ordered the French Dip with auju and i added extra roast beef, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and sour kraut. It was bountiful and delicious. The beef was lean but succulent, cheese was creamy and aromatic, and the onion and kraut was in perfect harmony with the beef. Package perfectly, poured the auju on the open bun and forked and knifed it. It did not let me down and will order again. Another home run Rick. And must say him and his staff are very friendly and warm. They make you feel appreciated and at home. Keep up the culinary treats in a bun and keep smiling. Thanks again, and...
