Blarney Stone Pub Virginia Beach, VA — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

I have been going to this place on and off for 20 years and have to say that tonight was absolutely a train wreck!! If you are going to play the Queen machines don’t do it there!!! According to the way the game works you are supposed to cash your ticket in before you leave the spot that you are playing at. Well the Blarney stone never has your money and you are told to come back the next day. Well today is the next day and agin Im told to come back tomorrow. Supposedly the lady who cashed the tickets out can’t even be bothered to come in and do her job. When we found out that she wasn’t coming in my friend was talking to 2 other patrons and venting a little about the situation. The bartender came up to the both of us and said “Don’t be talking to the other customers about this it’s affecting my money and I have kids I support “. Well first I wasn’t even saying anything second thing our money was good until we didn’t have any and couldn’t get what was owed to us 3rd I didn’t realize that I wasn’t in the Inited States anymore and there was no freedom of speech. Pros: Service and staff are friendly, fast and know their customers.

Price for food and quality!! Nom nom nom taco Tuesdays are a steal. The nachos could appetize 3+ 😋

This place is a bit of a conundrum

I got a pastrami and cheese, it was a good amount of pastrami and the price was only 6.50. My wife had a pulled pork sandwich, and it did not seem particularly appetizing, it sorta looked like tuna. The fries were good, previously frozen, but still good. My wife's onion rings were not great.
