Bruster's Real Ice Cream — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

I was sent an email for the PJ Day free cone at this location specifically. When we got there at about 6:20 the owner Beth claimed that the promotion was only from 1-5 PM. The email mentioned nothing about a time, just the date: March 25, 2017. She referenced the 1-5 PM claim to a sign that was in the window. First of all, the sign was from last year, but the old date had been crossed out and "March 25, 2017" was crudely written over it. Secondly it was completely obvious that someone (likely Beth as she claimed she is the owner) added a text box that said "1-5 PM". It was completely obvious by looking at the sign that it was tampered with. When we said we would contact corporate she said she didn't care and that she could decide the time for the promotion. Overall, she was extremely rude to us for no reason. I could understand if her location was not part of the promotion, but the email that we received specifically had the address of Beth's location and in reference to time frame the email said March 25, 2017 and did not have a specific time. The experience was quite humiliating as there were other customers in line trying to order in the next window over while Beth was lecturing us about how she was right. Amazing flavors amazing customer service a great place for ice cream This was a few weeks ago I said this then I went back and witnessed the worst customer service from a young lady with glasses speak to a customer so rudely. The woman came too the window while a bunch of us were in line and she said to the woman that's out prices if you don't like it you don't buy it and closed the window and walked away. We all in the line we like wait what did she just speak to her in such a way. I was horrified and attempted to not purchase anything. It was such total disrespect and rude. And the woman was with either her son or grandson. I did eventually grab some ice cream and the pint I got was full of ice chips. When you have a chain making comments and poor delivery for ice cream it saddens the consumer. They also forgot my husbands order and we had to go back. For starters, I have to say that the ice cream offered by Bruester's is top-notch, and some of the best you can find in the market. They offer a range of flavors, with each scoop bursting with creamy and delightful goodness that you can't help but marvel at how delicious their ice cream is.

However, I must point out that the service can be a bit slow at times, which might bring down the overall experience. The staff members work tirelessly, but during busy periods, the wait time can be prolonged.

Despite that, once you are served, they deliver their ice cream fresh and satisfyingly creamy! It offers customers a lovely treat that is bound to make you crave for more.
