Had to wait 1hour+ for my food that I ordered at 1:29PM. Did not get any call or message, so I had to call them 3 times for my food(30 mins, 45 mins, and 1 hour later since I ordered the food). They said they need some time for bread to cool down, busy time... etc This is jimmy john's and nobody expects to wait for hour long when they order the food from this place. One of the workers that I talked to over the phone was saying they were to "busy" to even make a call. Really should not offer delivery for certain time, if they cannot handle the number of orders.
** UPDATE it does not matter what time you order delivery, it will take minimum 1HOUR. I just do not know since when FREAKY FAST become one hour. Also the restaurant intentionally change the status of the online order to "our for delivery." My order turned to "our for delivery" at 1:25PM still did not get the food at 2PM so I called and asked they said my food just left few minutes ago. I asked okay but the website status changed 35mins ago and of course they cannot answer. Jimmy John's has changed so much and we can all say that corporation it self does not care at all. look at all the bad reviews and they are not trying a single thing to improve...
Read moreAfter using this Jimmy John’s multiple times, I will now never use this location again. They can only seem to get an order correct 1 out of 10 times. Once they didn’t have any delivery drivers (understandable given the times) so we had to pick it up (no big deal). But, when we checked the receipt they had still charged us a delivery fee. When we called them to have it corrected, the person who “helped” us was rude and acted as though she didn’t want to refund the fee. Today, they said they were out of unwiches. My wife has celiac disease and cannot eat a normal bun. I don’t understand how they are out of unwiches since the bun is just replaced with lettuce (a very common ingredient on their sandwiches). When my wife questioned this, the person “helping” her was extremely rude again (turns out to be the manager). I will not be giving this store or any other Jimmy Johns my business from now on. At 1:30 pm I called merchant and staff informed me that delivery driver called out and that they were short staffed & RAN OUT OF BREAD! How a sandwich place runs out of bread as a business is mind blowing. They asked for more time. Kindly I informed them that I was willing to work with them. The representative then asked that I give them 30 min to an hour. I agreed. At 3pm I called back and another female representative explained that my order was out. At 3:40 pm the app says my order was delivered but it was not! I've never had a more terrible experience with postmates or Jimmy John's. Their motto is "Freaky fast " I am without a vehicle and expect the service that is being offered on the site. This service was a slap in the face.
