Not sure what's happened to the service at this location over the last few months, but it's gone downhill about 200%. The last few times I've come in here nobody greets you, the staff just continues whatever conversation they were having amongst themselves. When they finally pull themselves away to take your order, they act like you are interrupting them. This last time I ordered 2 sandwiches and a bag of chips and dropped a dollar in the jar because it was the only cash I had and the card reader doesn't offer you the opportunity to leave a tip. The girl that took my order picked up the jar with only my dollar in it, turned around to her buddy and started making fun of it? Not sure how much tip she the thought was warranted for doing the bare minimum and being unfriendly while she did it, but I won't bother tipping there again. On my previous visit the girl who took my order walked away as soon as I put my card in the reader. Never saw her again, didn't offer me a receipt, very strange. Anyway, the food still tastes good, and their still relatively quick, although slower than before. I'm just not sure I've ever been to a less friendly restaurant, and they used to be super friendly here. I went into the store to pick up my order, which should have been ready. After waiting several minutes, the young woman from the car came into the store, walked behind the counter, and proceeded to tell me that the store is āout of breadā, to which I replied, āout of bread?ā. A coworker then said that the bread just came out of the oven, and the young woman informed me that it would be a ālong waitā before my sandwich could be made, and it would be a minimum of 15 minutes. I let the 2 employees know that I would like to wait, at which time the young woman went back outside to the car. Itās been 15 minutes, the young woman is still in the car smoking marijuana, and the young man behind the counter has been standing in the back the entire time. This has got to be the most outrageous experience, to have an employee of a restaurant sitting in front of the restaurant openly smoking marijuana. Silas told us the delay was because they ran out of bread and that the driver left 30 min ago with our order. They then closed and we still hadnāt received it. We called at 9:04, Silas answered and said that they were closed. Their system said it was delivered ā4 minutes agoā, but we never received it. Now we have to go off of his word that we will get a refund after almost two hours of waiting in silence for our imaginary food to be delivered.
To offer zero rectification after such a poor experience is disappointing. A refund will suffice, but your āfreaky fastā slogan is nothing more than a misleading marketing gimmick.
