Had the gyro multiple times, childs pizza with grilled chicken, and the gyro platter multiple times, baklava twice, and now that I think about it will probably get it tonight as well now that it’s in my brain. My experiences are exclusively delivery through DoorDash so can’t say how other platforms are. Hands down 100% best gyro in the area IMO. Authentic flavors with the gyro and the fries were absolutely great and probably the best crinkle cut fries in Chesapeake. All of my food has always arrived warm/hot which is usually rare with delivery. The gyro was absolutely delicious from inside out. The pita was warm and absolutely none of it was soggy at all, I’m guessing they toast it a little first. The gyro meat was very good quality, firm, and sliced just thick enough to keep together. It was well seasoned and spread out so there wasn’t a single bite didn’t have some of each topping. Even though the pita was warm and had the hot meat the lettuce was very crisp and none of it had cooked/turned soggy at all. The tzatziki was really great, and every ingredient was layered in evenly. The fries were hot, salted, and most importantly with crinkle cut fries they were crisp, I didn’t have a single soggy fry in the box. The salad with the platter was massive, all of it was great including their dressing. With the platter I was stuffed after the gyro and fries and didn’t eat much of the salad honestly. Highly recommend.

Wow. . wow. I heard so much about this place from my other Yelp friends. My boyfriend has never had Greek food so what better way to introduce him to it than a local favorite. We walked in and was greeted by Ms. Jackie. She was so nice and sweet. We got to pick where we wanted to sit which was cool. After we sat down, more people came inside also. I heard so many different reviews from this place. I placed the photo of my food on my instagram and a lot of my friends were excited that I went. We started off his experience with Spanakopita, a Greek Spinach pie. It was good and crispy. The Tzatziki sauce was a perfect touch with the dish. Then we ended having eyes bigger than our stomachs if you want me to be honest. We both ordered gyros that included tzatziki sauce and a side order of fresh crinkle fries . The portion for the fries were huge. I also heard that their pizza was one of the best, so how could I pass that up? We ordered a grilled chicken and feta pizza that tasted so fresh. Most def am coming back to this restaurant. My parents were also satisfied with their togo order!

My coworker has been raving about this restaurant and she absolutely loves to order from Papa Greek for lunch. I was visiting my parents nearby so I decided to order the Chicken Souvlaki wrap for takeout on my way back home. The wrap was delicious! My fries were a little soggy but I understand fries don't hold up well in take out boxes long. I live almost 20min away.. My only complaint is that I didn't feel welcomed when I arrived to pickup my order. The lady at the front desk barely acknowledged me when I told her my name for pickup. I'm pretty sure I said hello to her first. She plainly asked me, you ordered online? I replied yes, she ripped the ticket off the bag and barely attempted to hand me my order. I went inside with the intention to add a starter dish to my order since I found some extra cash. But her overall presence turned me off so I decided to keep the rest of my money. I'll just use it for another day... I was really excited to try Papa Greek tonight and I was pretty disappointed with my experience. The food was great but the service needs some work.

It’s hard for me to give a bad review, but when I can’t even finish the food and stop eating still hungry, you earned an honest negative review. Location was good. Restaurant was clean and service was friendly but the food was terrible. I got the chicken souvlaki pita and a pizza. The chicken had gristle in it and I had to spit out multiple pieces before I gave up entirely. The lettuce was limp and slimy and the tzatziki I paid extra for was watery and lumpy. The fries looked burnt but were somehow not crispy. I didn’t try the pizza but 2 out of 3 who ate it said it tasted weird/not good and they wouldn’t go back. We love Greek food but this was an unfortunate waste of my money. Nothings worse than deciding to treat yourself to lunch and end up giving it to the dogs, who, by the way, totally disagree with my negative review. 😂.

I'm trying to get on the bandwagon of trying local pizza places around the area, and while this isn't a strict pizza place, a buddy of mine told me about this place a few weeks prior saying that the pizza was awesome. So I finally got around to going there and checking it out. I didn't care too much for the atmosphere though. Also, the fact that beer isn't served there deducts some points. So I decided to place a carryout order instead considering it isn't too far from where I live. The estimated time was accurate and ordering a meat lover's pizza, I was very impressed. I don't think I've ever had one that had steak on it. It was very good and I would definitely consider carrying out again sometime in the future.

Seriously amazing! My husband and I visited here during lunchtime on a weekday and many locals were coming in and I think its definitely due to their service and amazing food. Their hummus appetizer was the star of the show though. I've never seen green hummus before but let me tell you. OMG. amazing. I could eat it just alone but no you get pita bread. Fluffy amazingness that is just too good not to try. On top of devouring the apatizer I ordered the falafel wrap that came with a great amount of fries. It was so much that I had enough food for another meal. Definitely worth a try if you are in the area. It is a bit more expensive than "McDonalds" but its soooooo worth it!
